HQ insider here:
It is being handled. Much kicking and screaming over the proposed cuts but they will be vast, sweeping and deep.
The only thing he's inside of is his colon

HQ insider here, I sorry to tell some of you but there will be NO layoff in Metobolic.
I know many of you wish there would be but based on profit margins and staff costs it isn't going to happen in Metobolic.
Again, sorry to some but there is No plan to layoff anyone in Metobolic but there is in other areas.
Spelling, oh well but understand the content.
THE CONTENT
No lay off in Metabolic
I work at home office also, there is NO layoff of the Metabolic franchise planned.
You may wish for that to happen, maybe it should happen, but Metabolic is a money maker and protected and they will not be laid off so forget that. Trust me I know.
The cash cows of their product line are rep sensitive and that my friend is the number one reason they will not be laid off. Sure we are not back filling positions unless it's a must, so in that respect the Rep numbers are shrinking but don't expect any one there to loose their jobs, that's a fact.
Cheers
Creon and Lupron have large territories and one rep. It actually works better when there is accountability. There is currently none in Metabolic.
CV also had large territories and either 1 or 2 reps. Their drugs were very sample sensitive. Plus, Synthroid sample availability has been really cut back and Androgel is not even sampled. There are so many falsified "detail only" calls that it is ridiculous!!
I just want a severance pkg and will be on my way. The above is all so true. No body with a half brain is doing anything now for several obvious reasons. One, no accountability with masses in each territory. Secondly, Andro is dying on the vine on multiple fronts. And finally, the offices are plain sick and tired of seeing us.
C'mon just put us out of our misery (those with IQ over 8 who realize the above), payup sev and watch the script numbers probably go up alittle.
I agree. This dog wont hunt and we are just kidding ourselves or letting ourselves be punked with all the BS rhetoric. Get this over with and move on. At least start to thin this absurdly overcrowded rep situation.
Having an arrogant Solvay/Metabolic team is completely understandable.
No consistent expectation requirements for years while everyone else has either been downsized completely or selectively pressured out for falling short of revenue goals.
Not them. Everything stays status quo as their Jonestown attitude prevails.
Thus has got to be addressed. It is far too blatant to be swept under the carpet any more.
Stockholders will start wondering as reported Agel revenue continues to crater after it was touted as the #2 revenue gainer just after Humira. Other sales organizations are not happy nor fooled by this obvious politically motivated pandering.
This will get leaked externally to analysts. Afterall we are talking hundreds and hundreds of reps stumbling around with no business return.
I wonder if Big Jim has the FDA decision yet?
What decision might that be? Has magical Jim developed his own drug in his basement?
I sincerely hope you are not referring to Vagigel or whatever, the magical testosterone cure for female cardio issues! Do you really think the FDA would ever approve giving a male prevalent hormone to women without at least 8million years of safety data? It has shown risk already in many men! The FDA got burned on estragen already.
If anyone is waiting around for this, I feel sorry for you. It has not even received any JAMA or other credible MD discussion.
Just a ploy to keep us *yes I am in this same boat: but my IQ is alittle higher then my shoe size. Gimme my fkn severance pkg so I can move on out of this BS, fairytale organization run by a used car salesman, Magical Jim. I will not go to Jonestown!
Doesnt matter. Rick G. has already stated publicly that the future of Abbvie is not in Men's Health. They have stopped production of the second version of AndroGel and hormone replacement therapy is not in our future for men or women. The interest from Abbvie in the study was when the market dynamics were a lot different. In 2012 we were riding high 30% year over year market growth with few obstacles. 2015 is very different.
