Was there a positive spin on Metabolic?

They could cut the sales force 50% and not only improve the bottom line but even increase sales. Someone must be asleep at the switch. The dead wood and incompetence in this sales force is truly epic!
 




Who F@$in' cares about Metabolics??? Synthroid sells itself and Androgel will be switched to generic on every script. I concur completely.....it's BS!! Those reps probably fake every call they make. Who wants to attend a Synthroid talk - nobody. Who wants to attend an Androgel talk...not many. Because you call on mostly primary care you can do many lunches, coffees, etc. but many are probably fake and you take the food home with you (that goes for pharmacy calls too....they are probably all fake) Exhibits? You use those as a JUSTIFIED day off from the field. It's completely a joke!!!

This thread is such BS...no one cares about Metabolics!!!!! Stop the madness already and take this thread down!

It's a messy, lengthy process about reassignment, HR implications, budget reassignment blah blah blah.

Real folks are affected. It's deliberate and dammit, it should be.

Nothing is being worked on in house, as of yet. Now, get to fucking work and try selling mandrogel and synthroid.

Suck it up and just accept it. We are all confident that eventually we will be found a viable
position.
Believe that mgmt. is convinced that we truly are a unique and multi talented salesforce who deserve to be given every last opportunity to stay on board no matter how long it takes to find us other opportunities. Its called forward thinking.

It must be comforting to know that your jobs are secure no matter what. I heard of a rep in Orlando that sells wine on the side. His doctors are his best customers. Anything goes in that franchise

Convinced you are superior based on what? You guys really need to go. Your continued lack of accountability is a big negative on the morale of the other reps like myself who are busting our ass on a daily basis because we know the consequences of not adequately producing. You never had to face any consequences.

Even harder to tolerate without puking. They can kiss my ass too. Getting pummeled weekly for action plans, bla bla. They are not being consistent with these metabolic clowns and I am going to also start the ol passive aggressive route too. My territory has 3 of them and they don't do jack.

The invention claims that restoring T-levels to premenopausal levels reduces the risk of CV events in post menopausal women who are at risk of a CV Event by 71%.

Great. Real promise there. Give testosterone to woman when we know it increases CV risk in many men.
I am hopeful no one is stupid enough to pursue that. Pipedream and even so probably years away from ever getting FDA approval which is highly doubtful.

Pahleese read the Patent Application and you will see that at the time of the application, with over 4000 years of safety data they showed it reduces the risk of CV events, now they have 7656 years of safety data. It was under FDA SPA with an agreement for post approval study. Best of all no competition.

Two former Presidents of the American Society of Hypertension were involved in the monitoring of the safety/efficacy study, including Dr William B. White who was Chair of the Executive Committee of the Safety Study.

May not be as big a pipedream as you think. Time will tell. If Dr Snabes stands by his claims in the patent application, Abbvie would be crazy not to pursue this.

I agree with this post and most of my Brothers and Sister in Metabolic do as well.
Stop your complaining about us and work like us and you all will be ok, don't complain anymore, we have not disrespected your divisions. You don't need to be jealous just get your managers to work like ours and maybe you will get someone like
Jim and Marty to be your leaders.
