This statement shows how delusional and out of touch with the field they really are. Many of them were working in the field back in the days when you did not have to work as hard. Those people got promoted...then they assume that all reps are just like they were...lazy. This does not include every manager, but many of them here.

There's a very easy solution to that. Take him to a scary neighborhood. When you start to smell the foul excrement coming from his pants, just laugh and say... "Your safe silly clown. I'm licensed to carry and just to show you how prepared I am, here's my handgun." Some of you guys are pretty stupid to pull shit with some us. You get too smart a little to quickly.

The structure in pharmaceutical companies is out of touch with reality, no doubt about it. "They" seem to think that the field reps are dummies. Well, we know that management doesn't do crap all day. So, there is a disconnect, because not only do we know the don't do crap all day, but they also make more money, and they also get in the way of our production.

They are totally useless. And companies need to consider a sales model with one national sales director and then all the reps under than one director. There is no need for district or even regional managers that are clueless, and often mean, and lazy as well.

You are so right! no one knows how to run companies better than us trunk monkeys and call fakers!!! Our business intelligence is unmatched!!! We work so hard and are so dedicated yet get no love from the mean managers! Why don't we start a support group where we can all exchange our sad stories and have group crying fits and hugging sessions? We have been wronged and our inner childs may be damaged forever! Someone pleas help us!!! We are all such sad victims!!!!! I am going to have another crying fit right now!!!

Yes I agree! No one laughs at us delivering pizzas or faking calls! Our job is so vital! We could be doing and job in the world but we chose a sample dropping demeaning career because we are so talented!!!! Trust me now and believe me later!!!

If you call home office they virtually never return your call so you have to keep calling back and then they make no secret of how much they hate the sales force.
