When the majority of reps aren’t reaching their goals…when the NATION isn’t meeting goal…upper leadership needs to “look within” and stop putting it all the reps. Goals are too aggressive and unrealistic, leading to multiple quarters with small bonuses, leads to low moral while micromanagement increases…you will LOOSE YOUR BEST PEOPLE. Those people know their worth, know how hard they’re working, and WILL LEAVE for more money.

Goals MUST take into account a state’s MANAGED CARE. You CANNOT force rank reps when you’re comparing apples to oranges.

CHANGES NEED TO BE MADE UP TOP. GOALS NEED TO BE A STRETCH, BUT ATTAINABLE. WAKE UP.
 




I’m so tired of leadership dismissing the disparity between large volume territories vs low volume territories and ability to hit high attainment…. Or wide open Medicaid access in a disease state with so many Medicaid lives vs multiple step failures and a PA before it goes through. It’s the same teams winning national spots over and over again when skill or talent have little impact on winning.

MULTIPLE REPS LEFT THIS WEEK ALONE IN THE NORTHEAST. Why is this? Insane micromanagement and pressure, minimal showing of appreciation, all while getting shitty bonuses quarter after quarter….no one except CT is even in top 50%. If this isn’t a red flag to IC dept that goals aren’t fair…I don’t know what is.

You sound like a jealous pencil pushing accountant stuck working all day in a cubicle making less $75k a year that just saw a spreadsheets showing that most sales reps are making 2-3 times more than you do a year. You are so clueless to think AI/social media will replace us. We don’t need to justify our salaries. Not everyone can deliver bagels and coffee like we do. Blame the stupid Executives for deciding to make territories smaller while continuing to add more sales reps in the field when access is horrible and Vraylar has been on the market for over eight years.

Silly you…that would assume EACH rep would actually have 35 prescribers they could physically see in a week. Especially given the fact that a lot of territories have 3 reps calling on the same targets…that would mean the territory would need to have 105 viable targets to call on in a week…now that is funny. You must be one of Susie Brandt’s data entry personnel who is in charge of running the report for reps making less than 7 calls a day. I’ll save you time and tell you that there is no need to run a report as there are ZERO reps on a full team that are realistically making 7 plus calls a day, 5 days a week. But we can plug in whatever numbers management wants so they can justify their jobs.
