If you have read through all the info available on here and still want the job, you have whats coming to you and I won't even feel bad.

Heartscape was supposed to be next best thing and we are still waiting for it 5 years later. Glidescope is done, its an ancient product that got lapped by the competition 3 years ago.

For the moron that says he has a friend that works here - you are a double looser . Not only a low performer - bitching on your own companies board , but posting garbage on here too . Guarantee you are bottom 10% in rankings at your company . And your so called friend that works here - definitely a low performer . The company mite suck - but you and your buddy are typical low performers . Using the excuse that there are good and bad territories exposes you - excuse maker and looser . Capital equipment bro -

Your spelling is just awesome. You sir are a fine example of the r*****s that Verathon hires.

It's loser NOT "looser"

It's might NOT "mite"

And you are an idiot if you feel Kansas,Kentucky,Louisiana,Alabama,Missouri,Tennessee have the same opportunities as Florida,California,Texas,Ohio,Illinois etc. Look at the population alone and that will give you a very clear picture of how backwards Verathon quotas are.

So while it may be true that a great rep can do mediocre in a bad territory, a bad rep can excel in a good territory. Has a top 3 rep EVER came out of the aforementioned territories? No, that's the answer according to all historical data available on our sales page.

A few Facts :

1) agree - bad spelling
2) You are a low performer - as you dont deny that
3) r*****s hired ? sounds like you work here , fellow tard
4) If the company is so bad : leave . You cant because your numbers are bottom 10%
5) I know who you are
6) those states you mentioned had 3 , # 1 reps from there
7) you will be fired soon

I had to come and look at this board. I know a guy who works for Verathon and he told me about the pathetic Dallas meeting and some douche bag from NYC who told everyone to quit crying about your quotas. Haha! I also heard that the NYC guys quota is a mil lower than he sold last year. No wonder he thinks quotas are great. Ive got news for that NYC rep in a real company he would have gotten a 20% increase over sales. I bet he wouldn't be such a cocky prick then. And good god a monkey could sell $3 mil in NYC. I want to know the idiot who is setting quotas, I want him to come to my company and set my quota $1 mil lower! I also heard there is a little group of about 10 reps who hit their numbers every year but their quotas never go up, a good ol boys club if you will. No wonder your company sucks!

You are an idiot...you "know a guy" that works for Verathon and you are so involved in our business that you are concerned about the quotas? Mmmmms... You need to get a life if you are so interested in the NYC quota and you don't work here...OR (probably much more likely) you are an under performing rep spending way to much time on why you never make you numbers. If you would of listened to his talk and not heard it from your "friend" I hope it would of set it in....people defy the odds, saturation, and kill the competition all the time. Read a self help book...it will tell you the same thing. The cream always rises...what he said was stop feeling sorry for yourself, we all have obstacles so get out there and figure it out...many reps do and are still killing it.

Get a real job where you don't pry in your "friends" jobs OR acknowledge that you work here and you made up your mind to fail along time ago and are looking for reasons to validate your own decision and are picking on his talk of defying the odds. Every single year there are success stories that of territories that defy odds... For example...South Carolina is killing it...why-sold rep-consistent work.

Tell your "friend" to go work or get a new job. Picking on the NYC rep who has crushed him year after year is a waste of his energy.....

2. Don't NOT dont
3. Yes, I'm a fellow tard however I am awaiting an offer from a top 10 device company. If I don't get the expected offer as I have been through all interview phases and should know within 48 hours I will simply continue to interview my way out of Verathon.
4. I am leaving, and I am a top 25% rep.
5. You probably do know who I am and are pissed you can't do anything about it.
6. Lies. I have numbers to back my statements you do not.
7. You can't fire me, I'm not on plan and don't break any rules. Yes I am guessing you are my manager and I am laughing at you.

Verathon hires the worst talent . A used car lot has better reps. We only want the uniformed and gullible . Sad to say I am part of this company and have to have this turd on my resume !!

Hit a nerve? You must be the NYC rep, his mgr or whoever is setting the quotas. Lets do an experiment, lets take the top reps and put them in the bottom territories and see how long it takes to turn them around. Lets also do the opposite with the bottom reps to the top. I can already give you the answer... They will never turn them around, and the top territories will stay at the top. If you expect NM, KS or AR to do the same as NY, CA you are lying to yourself. Look at the stack rankings from 2009 on, don't look at the rep and you will see basically no change. Now when you look at the reps you will see the bottom territories keep changing reps. What does this tell us, 1) the top territories have reps that understand how good they have it, 2) the bottom territories have reps that realize there is no opportunity and move on. Now at this point most companies would take a look at this and say an adjustment must be made, but not Verathon. This is proven by the fact that Verathon had 10% negative growth from 2012 to 2013. As soon as the C levels turn their attention from the new CRM and start looking into the sales side of things, the "top" reps are gonna be in for a rude awakining (hello $3.5mm quotas). Something to end on and prove my point. When Bill Belichick was at Cleveland (worst "territory" in the NFL) he was one of the worst coaches in the NFL, but when he went to New England (top "territory" in the NFL) he became a legend. Was he a bad coach in Cleveland? No, the Browns suck and have continued to suck since he left.

I'm the one who posted about a friend who works for Verathon. I thought he was lying, that's why I posted, but after reading the responses everything he told me has been confirmed. I was holding off on recommending him for a position because of the tall tales he told about Verathon. As far as being a low performer, he hit his number his first year and has grown business ever since, but his quota is 40% higher than his last year and he wants to go to a company that has opportunity and stresses growth. It sounds very much like the quota system at Verathon is based off of personal bias and not facts or formulas, which could be viewed as discrminatory and illegal. As far as me and my company, I'm a top performer and have been in presidents club for a capital sales company that did over $1 billion last year, and has grown every year since the 70s. Good luck to the sales force at Verathon and I hope these issues get worked out.
