Union East Coast

i work in a PSC in NJ. I'm embarrassed to say I believed managements bs the last time around. Nothing changed. They fired good employees and my Supervisor but kept the waste. They hired Supervisors with no lab experience - at least my old boss helped us ! Gave us help for a few months then back to the old short staffed ways. Fool me once..... Not again! Not only will we vote yes we are letting everyone know how not to trust anyone in management.
 






I work in a PSC in VA and transferred from MD and I have been calling all the PSC to let them know we need to vote yes!! Our manager is rude, ghetto and could care less.... Then they bring in her counterpart from the branch who is just as bad. They pretend to make it better but they don't. They think a smile and an ice pop will make us feel better because they lack the education or drive to lead us! I can tell you we are all for it.

Cannot wait to see how this helps us fee better
 






I am from NJ as well, maybe we should get all the phlebs on this site. A coworker just told me about this today. We need to send mass communication to all PST to join us

We gave them a chance and their promises were not kept. No second chance, just say yes to the union.

Biggest a**holes ever, these 2 jagoffs... Both manage by fear and have no leadership skills. They employ puppets to further their cause and line their pockets, whole everybody else is getting their pay cut. Theae 2 yahoos BH and KS haven't seen the field since pagers and pay phones were the main source of communication. It's easy to isolate yourself on the second floor of raritan and call shots when you have no idea what goes in the field and "reality". A union will wake them up

It's appealing to those who have the lowest pay scale in the industry, are treated like poor trash, get no professional respect and who have no voice. We can't even afford the health insurance. So yes , it's very appealing. unless it effects you, shut up republican .

You'll vote for anything/anybody that promises more handouts and less work. I'm sure there's a CVS around the corner from you. Why don't you walk in and start taking stuff off the shelves and then set it ablaze!
 






Once the Union gets in here other divisions will see what it is doing for the employees and it will spread throughout the company. It will all be traced back to this division since they were the ones that started it. So long management team, your name will be history once corporate finds out you started it and now they are in. The blame will be on you so how does it feel?

Perhaps if you spent more time working and less time whining on this board you wouldn't have the lowest pay in the industry, treated like poor trash, without professional respect and no voice. A bit more work and you might even be able to buy health insurance. Better get to it, Obama will fine you for being uninsured, democrat.

Everybody thinks phlebotomy management is the problem. Truth is the person sets the tone and the culture within the division. A few lawsuits and a union may change the bottom line thinking and client and employee satisfaction may rise as a result. Doubt that will happen though.

Hopefully a union will help, JJ and JM of NE and Atlantic are directly to blame for unions coming in. Both Divisions should be ashamed but both names above are to entitled feeing to realize there is even an issue, if you speak up they performance you out with lies one division is no better than the other. They hire people they can control with fear and then smile as they line there pockets. Drew better get a clue and realize that even the HR team sucks! Employees have not where to go for issues to truly be addressed so they are looking to the union to help. Being a KAE in fear of loosing job and running around being made to promise things that are unrealistic is the worst. Then to hear from my phlebs they are in fear as well shows that it starts from the top. Hopefully this will change

It absolutely, positively starts at the top. These people were molded through fear as well and made to follow within the the culture "cult" set forth by the leader at the top. The place makes money, but at what cost? What a shitty run organization for employees and clients. Labcorp is the bottom feeding place in the medical industry. Absolute dump. Half of these yahoo's would never make it in a real medical company.. with standards such as compliance, morals, ethics, and values.
