Good luck with Union! That will never come with LabCrap!
Just need to say yes.
Right just say yes and all your problems will go away.......NOT! Shut up and do your damn job.
The bottom line is the phlebs are understaffed, overworked, we became processers/accessioners when Touch was brought in. We have a metrix on just about everything, more policies than we can remember to follow. But we better smile as we can't have too many Horizon complaints, when also getting money owed from patients (yes - we are the billing dept as well). But - no OT! We get a half day off - at Sups discretion so we can't even make an appointment in advance. I was there for the union round 1 - unfortunately I listened to my Sup as I did respect her - she made sense to me and I voted no. So then before I know it - she's fired! At least she helped us in the sites. We have no one now that helps. We never even see a Supervisor hardly!!! It cannot get any worse for us - if management just spent as much time, money and effort in helping phlebs and the sites as they did fighting the union we wouldn't even need this thread.

It's because Labcorp and bill haas is a pound foolish and penny wise organization. They are like the old man who will spend all kinds of time and energy scouting out the places with the cheap gas prices and then drive 20 miles put of the way to get that CHEAP gas. What a waste of time, like this guy if labcorp just spent more money on the front end they would avoid paying money put on the back end. The reason why it is like this is because of the quarterly budgets set forth to meet the quarterly forecast for wall street and investors. We need a person who is willing to sacrifice his own self interests for a couple quarters to get things right and fix things and then later on we would all be better off. This place is corporate america greed at its finest. It's worse than walmart!

When will the vote be?
Quiet here...did it fizzle out?
It's the calm before the storm....
