When did you receive the last phone call from recruiter about the delay because of COVID?

The candidates moving forward receive calls from recruiters every 2 weeks for updates during the covid-19 quarantine. I’ve received 3 calls so far and was told that will continie throughout the quarantine. No routine calls from recruiter means a candidate has not been selected to move on. Well there is the one lunetic poster who claims he’s interviewing on Monday. Lmfao!

This initial significant delay has to do with the hiring process/COVID. The recruiter is not able to tell us when they will actually move forward on the hiring because COVID has drastically slowed down the timeline for approval (if this drug gets approval). My sources say approval is now doubtful, and will not be selling drug until 2021.

i was interested early, but did a lot of research and just don’t feel this drugs going to be approved. I still wanted to ask anonymous question on here though even though I have an interview on Monday with hiring manager.

I was offered the job, but with uncertain timing on if/when this drug will launch and Biogen’s reputation as quick to lay off at the slightest sign of adversity, I decided to turn down the offer. I will continue to sell to Primary Care offices at a stable, big pharmaceutical company not known to lay people off. Thanks for asking.

The MS people DON’T HAVE the right kind of experience for this drug so we DON’T want you over here anyway. If you HAD the right kind of experience you would not be saying the drug doesn’t provide benefit. Go back to your Cush division and stay there.

After today’s headline it looks as though Biogen is no longer pursuing anyone. As a matter of fact, it looks as though they are going to have some ‘splaining to do to those they have been talking too.

I made it to the final phase, however the recruiter communicated that the process has been “severely delayed”. No other information. Based on additional research, I am definitely passing on this opportunity in the rare event it is approved and have already let the recruiter know my intentions. There are more stable positions out there. Good luck all

Stable positions? This quarantine with Covid-19 does not look like it’s ending anytime soon. Pharma industry playing nice for now without cuts but after 1-2 more months, entire industry will become a blood bath. The days of the gravy train Cush pharma reps who don’t really sell anything are about done! It won’t matter, Biogen, Amgen, Gilead, JnJ, Genentech, Sanofi...... whoever..... gig is up!

Total crap. They haven't interviewed and Princeton One is doing preliminary ones. No face to face yet and no offers. So stop the nonsense .

Agreed. P1 has completed screening and submitted candidates to hiring managers. Virtual interviews with them in about 4 weeks. Start date likely not until August.

Yep - all of them are going to fold the sales forces and cut everyone (besides those that don’t and take a ton of business from the competitors). Only folks in jeopardy are those jumping on this fraud of an Alzheimer’s drug.
