Too much of a risk for Alzheimers Drug

Drug is a total piece of shit. But the head of the division has no problem telling prospective candidates how “she knows” it’s getting approved. “Why would fda of come to “us”” if it’s not going to get approved.

Stop drinking the kool aid you morons. This drug is dog crap.

Much better companies launching much more likely drugs in the near future. Only the desperate will take this job.

Yep - all of them are going to fold the sales forces and cut everyone (besides those that don’t and take a ton of business from the competitors). Only folks in jeopardy are those jumping on this fraud of an Alzheimer’s drug.

Bitter party of 1, your table is ready. You don’t have to worry about social isolation cuz you don’t have anyone to social with.

Don’t work at Biogen. Have friends who have joined and wish them the best. I pray that the drug does get approved if it can help those suffering. I watched two family members die an agonizing death due to the disease and it was torture for them and me. Good luck to all at Biogen

Covid 19 updated timelines. 2 hiring events in July for those who have already passed the phone screen. August start date.

Doubtful that those events continue after today's news. I'd be pretty nervous if I was already hired and accepted. 3 months severance goes quick. If ever approved, 2021 will be the earliest. Good luck to all who chased the dream

Been saying it for months on here, with
many detractors- this company and drug are no go’s. I’m sorry if they fooled you, because you went from being able to be choosy to now scrambling to find a job.

As Looney Toons used to say
“That-that-that’s all folks!”

So thankful I’m not one that took this job. Many experts are now saying 2022 is when it will get launched (if at all). I truly feel for those hired, I hope Biogen is fair with the severance but my guess is they won’t be.

i was one of the ones on call thru Princeton one. They last told me July. I guess that's out the window.

So today they announced they still have not even submitted to FDA And hope to do so in Q3 , so even if approved at earliest your looking at a Q1 2021 launch,
And that’s if everything goes perfect.

Honestly if everything goes perfect maybe July 2021. Most likely now looking at 2022 if approved at all. Most likely Biogen will now sever current hires, cease additional hiring until the picture is clearer most likely well over a year from now. Just be happy you were only in the running and not already hired, those folks are screwed. I work here at Biogen and know they are quick to terminate and offer very poor severance.

Hopefully the new hires negotiated a great sign on bonus and left their previous company on good terms.

severance is standard and as I
Understand it 3 mos. The prospect of
Selling a drug that could really help Alz pats and families was exciting. But it was risky from day one and that is why
A lot of internal folks did not move over. Sorry to see the externals gets laid off but it’s inevitable.

There are no new hires cuz salesforce has not been built yet. Gezzzzzz this site attracts dummies.

They also already hired a bunch of reps that are called account liaison positions basically a glorified advanced sales rep.
In addition they already hired a bunch of manage care people as well.
And sales Directors and regional managers. All for Alz. Drug

And the funny thing is I’ve told NUMEROUS TBM’s and RD’s who were in MS to just stay put. But noooooooo. Why would someone seek advice and then not take it. Hate to say it, but I told you so. Biogen is NOT the company that is going to keep all these people on and employeed for potentially years not months. Remember, this is far from a clear cut approval. The drug kills people at high doses, has a litney of A/E’s, and is going to be put in the hands of primary care fools. All for what....marginal unproven controversial endpoints that area meaningless.

FDA is under a lot of pressure to approve something. It ain’t going to be this mess of a product. That’s for sure. Meanwhile morons keep leaving their careers for an opportunity that’s so clearly a long long long long shot. Not really sure how Biogen is so good at brainwashing people. It’s a true skill and they excel at it.

the end.
