Managers are not hired to coach at Vanda or to be an asset to the field. They are hired to beat reps into submission, discourage free thinking and to do M Poly's dirty work and go demand selling off label.
 












What is going on - are the managers under fire? Why so much micro management suddenly? They are making our lives miserable with daily spreadsheet submissions and wanting to know what specifically we discussed with each and every provider? Looks like Vanda has completely lost the trust in people.

The company and the managers are going fucking insane.The whole focus is on getting the intakes by hook or by crook. Doesn't matter whether patient has non-24 or not, get him/her submitted. Where the hell is FDA and watchdogs to see what's happening at Vanda. we are trying to get simple insomnia patients put on this fucking 208K/year melatonin agonist. How unjust is that? This greed is what increases the medical cost in the USA.
 






Was told that if you don’t have an intake by end of quarter your retention bonus is in jeopardy and believe me when I tell you they will put everyone on a pip before December so you are not in “Good Standing” so they don’t have to pay the bonus come January. Look for a mass exodus come December. They won’t pay the bonus! They are already looking to lay people off if you don’t get an intake in next two weeks. I think like 30 people don’t have an intake. They will go first, then the pip plans for anyone with one intake and then they will only have to pay the bonus to the top 10 reps. Get out now while you can. This is the most corrupt company in the history of pharma. I think the FDA knows and that is why they haven’t approved any additional indications because they know Mihales will sell off label anyways. Make sure you are not telling your providers it is a circadian rhythm problem vs just non-24. Manager who road with me sold it like this at a lunch and said numerous time, if you suspect a circadian rhythm problem Hetlioz is the only drug approved! They are trying to market this as the be all for all circadian problems! Including delayed phase sleep disorder! Be careful. You sell off label and you can go to jail! We all know they are already looking at SG and his 200 intakes. We know he sells off label and KA in compliance does nothing. Hell my AM sells off label daily and even after 2 complaints with prof of Hippa violations by facing in intakes himself, they still didn’t touch him. They like that stuff it is what they want. Interesting that SG had 0 intakes when work at home orders were in place! Investigators are circling and investors are out. Stock is at a huge low for trades because they know all the scripts are off label anyways and it will stop coming soon! How much is the foundation funneling money for Hetlioz now days?
 






Having spent some time in the job, and getting a taste or distaste of the company's expectations, unethical approach, poor management, bad philosophy and operational guidelines, do you ever wonder "why the hell did I join this company"? You are not alone, more than 99% have the same feeling. What a shame ! But Vanda management doesn't give a crap about employee morale. While they have you they will continue to use you and drive you insane. Have fun...!
 






I wish these reps that are selling off label just to make a buck would stop. They keep referencing the 3 people that have 20 plus intakes. The average for the company is 1 per territory without the top 3. Stop selling off label! We know you are just to make money. You know reps that do this and other illegal things like filling out the intake! Go to jail! Look at numerous cases in the last 5 years and reps have gone to jail! Watch your back the FDA is coming after you. You guys should be ashamed how you are making medical cost go up for government programs! These are not non-24 patients. We all know that!
 






If you are being pushed to do illegal things by Vanda and it’s management team, you should protect yourself and report what you know to the Department of Justice. Everything reported is kept confidential. Don’t be afraid to report what you know!

Medicaid and Medicare are paying for Hetlioz for insomnia when there are MUCH MUCH cheaper (and better ) options. A few unethical reps pushed by an unethical company from the CEO on down get docs to claim the patient has non-24 (very little to zero chance they do if they are sighted). Mihales is probably giving a nice under the table kickback. Oh and the hub which is supposed to be separate from the company is actually (not on paper though) run by Mihales and his goons. And also Vanda unethically acts as the pts doctor for issues dealing with medical necessity (small print on intake form). Very crooked.
 






Look into PSI,a foundation the helps funnel the money. They have been in trouble in multiple other cases in the United States for kickbacks. I am sure M is paying them a good kickback to keep funneling the money through to help Medicare and Medicaid patients get their medicine. They now pay for it for 4 months while saying it is time for the insurance company to approve the drug , but really they are saying if patient is successful, then the government has to approve it and pay 216,000$ for a drug that doesn’t work on insomnia patients. These reps that sell 10 plus intakes a quarter are liars and telling their doctors that the government has to pay for it and that vanda’s hub can take care of all that for you. All you have to do is fax over this easy form asking Vanda for help get your patient covered and the foundation helps with that. Make sure you check the box that says non-24 so it isn’t off label. If they don’t check this box you don’t get paid! I think these reps are just telling doctors or checking it themselves to make sure they get a bonus. Go with that investigators!
