Even if they had the hard proof to show that 80% of our calls are fake, they would do absolutely nothing with it! What the hell are hey going to do, fire 80% to 90% of field sales? Hell no, because there would be nobody left to "support and manage", then they would instantly become unnecessary!

I faked 100% of my calls today! 100%! It worked great! The above poster is correct…they us as more than we need them! W/o us they nave no job! This "relationship" is great! Go Frenchie and AZ!!!!!

I am beginning to think you are right. I have never faked 100% of my calls on a given day, and probably will never do it, but, at least half are faked daily. I have no choice because of my access. When I was 100% CNS, access to psychs was almost 100%. I totally believe my DM knows that we fake calls daily, and I believe that upper management knows it too, but like you said, they need us to keep their jobs!

The lies get bigger the higher up the ladder you go in AZ. Your boss and your boss's boss are even more worthless than us. At least we deliver samples and put a face in front of our customers. Can someone explain what the fuck the DMs and RDs do? Seriously, I only hear from my RD by voicemail or e mail maybe a couple times each month. Mostly worthless passed on messages with a short lead in from her. My DM meets me at 10 am and leaves after a long business lunch where we mainly talk politics and sports.
 






I will definitely call it quits around noon tomorrow. I am so sick of lying every day, but there is nothing left to do but lie. My DM gives new meaning to the word "useless". I mean someone please, please tell my what their real function is?

Mine mostly stares out the window, tries to make small talk for the first hour or so and then spends his time on his phone. He hasn't worked with me past 2 p.m. in several years.
We never discuss a sales call since he usually stays in the car or makes an excuse to be dropped off to run a private errand.
 






Ahhhh! The smell of Fall is in the air! Feel the chill in the morning! Nothing like it! This is THE best time to really get into practicing our NEW TRADITION! I will not work more than 4 hours a day for the rest of the year! I think we all need this vacation period from 9/14/15 to 12/31/15 to recharge our batteries. It starts tomorrow!!

Couldn't agree more! We all need a break from these killer 4 hour work days! It's 3 hours a day for me from now on!

I have it made with my DM. I have 10 years seniority on her and have documented her telling me she had to leave me at noon because of a teleconference with her RBD. I checked and confirmed that there was no conference call scheduled by her that day or even that week.

I let her know that I knew she had lied about it. She hasn't hassled me since.

If you have a pain in the ass DM who feels compelled to coach you after every sales call, just try this simple tactic. Ask them to demonstrate a total sales call from start to finish. Make sure you pick a doc that will give them plenty of time to hang themselves. Let them know how much you appreciate them for showing you and that you would like to set up an appointment for them to do it on the next field visit. If they refuse to take a call then you have them by the short hairs. If they take it and embarrass themselves, then you know that they are a sham and can call could expose them to the rest of the District by asking them to demonstrate a role play at the next meeting. It has worked like a charm on my previous 3 DMs. One never rode with me again for almost ten months until she was moved to another district in a reorg.

More truth to this than most people realize. They need us more than we need them! Without us, they cease to exist. This is a giant house of cards, built on lies. Our new tradition will survive and we can all enjoy it! Happy Fake Call Friday!

We should all be thankful for the 2 days extra we get for Xmas! What do you people want?? The majority of calls are fake (75%), we work from 10 to 2 pm, or less, and you people bitch about not getting the whole week off as extra time!! Look at what you have now, and you will realize that you are damn lucky to work for a company that allows you to work about 3 hours a day, and sometimes even less!

One of my counterparts and I were discussing this thread on CP, and we have agreed to participate more often in our new tradition than we already ready were. Without going into details to reveal our well thought out strategy, let's just say we have each others backs. Sales are not taking a hit either, in fact, we are on an upward trend! It can be done!

I am working anywhere between 2 and 4 hours, max, per day. That's all that is really needed. Yes, we lie about a lot of calls, but so what, sales are good. My DM, bugs out early every time making excuses about conference calls etc., so why shouldn't we play the game?? I fully believe that upper management is totally aware of the massive call faking at AZ, but as others have said on here, they need us more than we need them, so they won't do anything to rock our boat or their boat. It really is a great "relationship"!
