Systagenix/Wound Care

Now my manager will send a 2 page email sucking off the CEO and everybody else about how great they are and how great the new products will be and how great everything is... Then the best part, they will copy JP on it.
 






Just got finished with my SFDC for the week. I only had 20 calls so I am sure I am going to get an ass lashing tommorrow. I only had 3 tielle calls so that will be an issue too. Guess I better make some up.

Did they finally realize only 1 person will actually make the 2010 quota? There are a few people making some money and a SHITLOAD of reps not making anything. Now it looks as though they are "working" on something to get money to us because they just figured out that a lot of reps are very close to accepting offers and walking away. It is probably too late but I will take every penny they give me

You and many other reps are too. Heard it through the grapevine but like anything, I will not believe it until it is in my pocket. If they do not do something 15 people will be gone by the end of the year and all this momentum we have will be gone as well and SWM will start the year in a really bad spot. Great reps joined this company to make 140k plus not 85k. This is a fucking travesty and it is not the reps fault. The quotas are not attainable. All the recruiters know the deal here and have "lots of Systagenix resumes". Do the right thing Systagenix...
 






I an in a growth area and the only ones making good money off me busting my tail to grow my area are my distributor reps. Why shouldn't I just sandbag the rest of the year? Hold the growth for when the comp plan isn't fucked!
 






way to go SWM Almost 4 pages now of ALL NEGATIVE POSTS!!! Coincidence? I think not! Just turn to the 50% turnover rate in 2010, and the great new pharma talent they're trying to bring in to replace the real med device reps who were smart enough to get the helll out. Its such a joke. If my manager does one more field ride with me and alienates my customers any more, I just might have to blow my brains out. Or quit, like the last rep. Thank you SWM for making me feel like a loser.

You would think that upper management would get a clue. If something is not done soon there will be no need for them because they will be the ones out selling, because all the reps will quit.

Who can you trust? Really? Man right on my card it says "we care, we lead with integrity , we deliver". Hmm we its fucking obvious no one gives a shit. So that care one is a lie. We lead with integrity? How can lying and cheating your reps to the poor house come with integrity? So guess that ones a lie too. We deliver? Why do you stay and continue to write on this board day after day ...why don't you just accept a new job then . If you are not making money go get a job that will pay you a good salary.....I have never in my life read such cry baby bullshit.....did you need a kleenex to wipe your tears or your anger. Grow up and move on. You children are worse than your company the way you behave.......

No wonder there is a financial meltdown....the new generation of workers expect to make loads of money and they don't want to work for it, instead they spend time online and cry....boo hooo

Mr.Asshole normally I would agree with you that this is yet another device company where the reps complain. However everything on here is true. Reps left solid jobs with great incomes to come here for a shot to grow personally and professionally and on paper this looked like a great opportunity to do just that. What we didnt know was how bad the infrastructure was and that the foundation to this business was not really established yet. There was supreme arrogance from the Corporate Leadership team when Systagenix was established because of great products and a true focus on just Wound Care, unlike Ethicon where this division was getting nothing. This caused these arrogant fucks to create huge quotas and sell it up to the VC groups that this business would grow very big and fast. What they failed to see was how difficult this business is and with a handful of people supporting this difficult business in Quincy instead of a few hundred like at Ethicon the task to grow was even harder to achieve. They underestimated how sales reporting works, how bad the relationships in accounts were once the divorce went down and most important of all how integral it is to be on major GPO's in hospitals and a million other things that are they thought were very easy to do. WITHOUT GPO'S CONTRACTS LIKE YOUR COMPETITION ALONG WITH BASICALLY ZERO BUSINESS IN THE HOSPITAL TO BEGIN WITH, YOU ARE FUCKED. They still have no true idea if the reports we get are 100% accurate and they probably never will know.

So Mr.Asshole yes the bitching is legit and justified because many reps are making half of what they made for multiple years and it is not because of lack of effort. It is because there are a multitude of problems mainly starting with quotas that are insane. I wish none of this were true but it is, all of it. No one even has faith that 2011 will offer quotas that are attainable. It does not take a genius to know that everybody should not have the same growth number! Same percentage yes but same number no. That is common sense however they lack that here.
