Systagenix/Wound Care

The turnover in the northeast would be laughable if it weren't so sad. Epic.

Fact is, the NE manager was brought in as one of JP's guys. The checkbook was open for this guy who couldn't even spell "Prisma" when he was hired. You can't really blame him for taking a job he probably never would've gotten involved with if he knew what he was getting into! Sho me the money! He was dooped like the rest of us to get on board here. Thanks to S.S for this mess by the way. (remember him?????)

However, he was hired with no experience with such products, no idea on how the market works, micromanagement to the fullest, and awful hiring decisions before and after after the quality reps leftover from JNJ had left. (Sadly, the days of order taking from KCI are long gone)

Truth be told, the NE has went thru probably over 15 reps in the last 2 years. (only 6 territories) Something's gotta give here! This manager even fired 2 reps, without just cause, who've had successful backgrounds in selling for JNJ before the hostile takeover from Systagenix. Some reps lost early on were great reps with big futures here, but lately the new hires have been low-cost "fill ins" for the real reps who've left for other opportunities.

The on-boarding costs for these "fill-in" reps must outweigh the production (or lack there of) that they have contributed in their short time with the company.

I agree, its time for Systagenix to put its money where its mouth is, and give this manager a position in the field! If he's so great and so smart, he should be able to get the job done, no??? And for the record, what does a manager here really do anyway besides check SFDC for fake entries???? Give this guy a territory and let him prove his worth. Earn his stripes!

The dirty south aren't the only ones disgruntled here anymore. Please chime in if you have any other ideas......I'm serious. This sucks a fat one. what a mess!

Management will not be touched because the corporate people believe the reason for all the issues is because of the reps. They think management is doing the right things and giving the reps what they need so everything is our fault. The UK thinks the US is overpaid and doesnt do anything to move the business. I have never seen such a divide between corporate and field sales in my life. Sorry folks but if you have thoughts of getting promoted and making a career here and making money it is not looking good.

I still laugh when my manager said "just for showing up to work everyday we are giving you 25k". I just vomited thinking about that...
 






So, did all of you naysayers see the stop presses this week? 2 huge Tielle conversions, one for $100,000!!! If you show it, It will move! Let's stay aligned with our business plans and make the big dollars that Tielle can yield!

And by the way, I've heard wonderful things about the NE manager!

Oh now you did it! Please list the states for the conversions. 100k huh? When the account does half of that I will believe it. I mean actual orders not potential. This sounds alot like the contest that was held at the end of last year where they gave away 15k. My region winners had accounts listed as closed that were supposed to do 100k and up! Not one of those fuckers has done even 10k annually!!! If we were paid on lying we would all be millionaires.

I cant even dignify your last sentence. Making a statement like that proves you are an asshole.

We have great products and an excellent comp plan. By God, it even pays those losers who are below 80% to plan. I will finish the year somewhere between 90-100% to plan and currently making decent money. If you work everyday and believe in what you sell, your business will grow. Be positive. Don't pay very much attention to the 3 idiots that flood this board with garbage. Hopefully they will move on with some crappy company that will pay for mediocre results.

When someone gets excited because they are going to finish 90-100% to plan that is a sign the company is a mess.

Have you bothered to check the comp plan? At 90% to plan you can make $42K in commissions. At 95% we get paid neearly $54K. Yes, we would all like to be at 100% to budget, but it's not an all or nothing deal. What a bunch of whiny losers!

Drip, drip, drip.......heard another rep quit today. And believe it or not it wasn't in the northeast!

But there are no issues here and we dont have any turnover.

If these reps were making money and felt they had a future here they would NOT be leaving. Dont worry they will just make the reps who stay take over the quota that was left behind just like they did before.

The KCI reps we brought over will tell you that you are crazy and both JP's are leading us to the promise land. The east is loaded with these dopes.

Have we sold more than 15k in adaptic touch? Have we sold more than 25k in Tielle? Dont give me this 100k florida deal either. The whole company has not sold 100k in Tielle since it was launched in 87'.
