Systagenix/Wound Care

Has anyone seen the June numbers? How's those Provider Plus / Service Provider partners doing? Anyone concerned about Medicare / Medicaid cuts? Check out the NY Times this morning. Have a good day!

Yes be afraid, be very afraid of cuts because the US hospital systems could afford to cut funding and flood ER departments. Do you believe in Santa too?

None of that will be relevant to us because we do not have any hospital business. How many people are going to miss quota by 75k or more? 100k? I bet more than the people who actually make quota.

Stay positive people!!!! We work for the most admired wound care company in the world! Wound Chek is coming!

Cant tell is this post is sarcasm or not. If not....you do know that many physicians DONT see this as a relevant diagnostic tool.

1) Elevated proteases can come from a variety of sources - and may or may not be a sign of infection.
2) It has not been proven that wounds with elevated protease levels don't go on to heal.

Good luck with this !

People, if you can't be positive don't come on this site! Positive points only!

I dont want positive I want honesty! Based off the last numbers how many people will make plan? Not me or at least 4 people in my region. Nobody is making money. Salary only. The diagnostic tool will crash and burn. Mark my words. Every doc that has heard of this has literally said "we already know proteases are high in chronic wounds, why would I need a test for something I arelady know"? Nobody is buying that product.

I have been offered a Job as an all care rep with systagenix. Can anyone tell me what bases go for to know if I have received a good offer? Also, I have read some posts in which people say it is difficult to make quota. Is this the case for "all care" reps as well? Thanks in advance...

bases were 70-75 however i heard they lowered that. who knows with this place. most everyone is an all care rep. very few people are hospital only. everything you read on here is true. as long as you know that going in you cant say you were not warned. the quotas this year started out great but like everything else at systagenix it quickly turned and went to shit.

management has no idea how to manage a comp plan that makes sense for our business model (distributor tracing, etc). nobody is making money either. if you need a job take it. this could be a great place because our products are good however there are too many issues. good luck

I concur, know it's a shit show going in

Thanks for the info. I don't need a job so it seems I may need to stay where I am. I was told this would be a $140k to $150k job and that the sky is the limit since hospitals and home health are untapped opportunities. $85k total comp??? Wow.. My current base is higher than that so I think I have my answer. Thanks again...

In a perfect world this is a 140k+ job and hospitals and home health are untapped however there is 3 years history saying otherwise. On paper this is a great opportunity however everybody who has come on-board feels as though they were sold a lemon. Can you tell us what base they quoted you? Are you currently in wound care? Good luck.

Proteases/destructive enzymes have nothing to do with infection.

A ton of documentation regarding destructive enzymes and healing rates.

Might want to know what you're talking about before making statements.

again if docs already know this why would they need a tool to tell them something they already know? i fail to see how this will be a "game changer" as our ex ceo said.
