"Mölnlycke Health care wins patent infringement case regarding its Mepilex Border products in Germany

Smith & Nephew must immediately remove all Allevyn Gentle Border products from the German supply chain and market.
Mölnlycke Health Care announces that on 16 March 2010, the District Court in Dusseldorf, Germany ruled that all of Smith & Nephew’s Allevyn Gentle Border products infringe Mölnlycke’s EU patent EP0 633 757, which protects Mölnlycke’s Mepilex Border products.

Smith & Nephew has appealed the decision, but the Court has provisionally permitted Mölnlycke to enforce the decision. Accordingly, Smith & Nephew must remove from the entire German supply chain and market all offending products, by way of recall. Customers should expect to be contacted by Smith & Nephew for the return of product."

How did the Q 4 contests work out for everyone?

Just as everyone expected. The reps who already were making money got more money and the reps who the contest was created for who have not made anything all year, got nothing.

How can you give people money based on "potential business" that nobody has any idea if it will ever close? The contest was a great idea but poorly run. I bet everyone that got the money also are the same people leading each region. Its a joke.
 












I sat on Santa's lap today. He saw that I was sad. I asked him for a few things:

- A new manager who isn't completely incompetent. A manager who actually carried the bag for this company, proved his worth, and understands the business. Not the current babysitting, paper pusher I currently have to lie to every conversation.
- A corporate marketing team that actually has intellectual and innovative ideas. Not the conference call to "make it look like I'm doing something worthwhile" intern level employees we currently have.
-New products that actually do have evidence behind them. No more of these commodity portfolio brands that nobody cares about.
- Co-workers who aren't so full of crap, and actually speak the truth about what successes they are having in the field. Save your b/s best practices please. Lie to your spouse, not your co-workers just because your manager's listening.
- And finally, a real medical device sales rep paycheck.

That entire Q4 contest was based on lies! The people in my region claimed to have closed more business in the forth quarter than they had all year! And the manager bought it and awarded them some serious cash. This place is a real shit show.
