SUN Pharma = Sh*t Show







Today I had a former colleague call me about the open VP Market Access position.

Super well-qualified, well rounded, she understands both the strategic and nuts and bolts of the payer landscape. A realist, an asset to any company.

Sadly, I had to deflect her away. Many reasons, but one is because she's a female. And that just doesn't fly here.
 












The company lacks any true leadership, morals, ethics and has a culture that is terrible and tolerates sexual harassment . Worst career move of my life. So incredibly thankful to be leaving. Running as fast as I can from this horrible place.
 












Word from my DM at the meeting in Chicago is that they're giving Ashish a boatload of crap.
Apparently he's now in charge of sales and marketing but no one has made the official announcement.

OMG, flashback.

I mean nightmare.
 






The Indians do not like female executives. All the promotions celebrated in their email blasts are male.

Sadly this is true and it goes to the Indian culture. They still gave arrainged marriages. Anyway. J Kasten leaving means there is only 1 female PDT manager. So if history repeats itself you can have one of the worst rankings as a rep and get promoted to manager as long as you are a male and kiss managements ass. It worked for T Bishop. Sadly, us females will never get ahead here.

In summary. Sun is not a big branded drug g company. They are small medium.

The reputation has taken a major hit as well in the market place.

Here are some true facts:
Only people that cant find work anywhere else will come to Sun. Even if they do they will keep looking.
Sun has ZERO future. Products suck and leadership is worst in industry.
No long term incentive to stay at Sun. No stock and crappy 401k.
Leaders have ZERO respect for salesforce.
Leftover DUSA leaders are clueless on how to lead people. They also have left everyone at risk because of their past and current illegal activities.
All people from rep, DM, and RD level are looking to leave. A recruiter outside confirmed this.
Zero trust anywhere in company.
If looking for a new job DO NOT put Sun on resume. It is looked down on you.
If find another job double dip. It is easy. I am doing it now and have been for months. Sun is clueless. Catch me if you can...bahahahaha
 






What many of you didn't see in the past few years is that we never hit a number. Ever. And yet he survived.

Some people on CP are fixed on the market access team, let it go, it is what it is and it'll change. But all other parts of the org are woefully under resourced and as people leave, all the work is being dumped on fewer people.
 






True. People are doing the work of two or more and that's the way this place rolls. The two people who ran Finance for the branded business have both resigned.

So there's no one to 'count and report' on what we do sell.

How do you run a place like this into a mass exodus?
 


















Do any of you realize how pleasurable it is to watch this place implode? To know that the upper management is all looking to leave, that they all ate it there so much, that there is back stabbing going on all over the place, that there is no future is pure happiness. To watch more people leaving and even more people posting about how bad it is just makes the heart feel great.

All of you assholes that are still there are getting exactly what you deserve. You are living in your own little hell...If you can't tell I am smiling typing this.
 






The Head of finance lady was super nice but I heard kept getting abused and cursed out. Like this shit is all her fault? And the legal guy? He knows we are in such trouble he is getting out before he gets tagged with any of it. No wonder everyone is bailing....this is not India and certainly not the 70's where it was acceptable to curse at ppl in meetings.
I'm sure law suits we coming.

Yes. Just hold tight for next 12 months. Tildrakizumab then OTX ( restasis competitor) launches will change the game completely. Everything else is a rounding error after these 2. Much of the challenge currently is the switch over of CEO, failing past sales leadership and change to the new future. Not at all surprised with recent leadership changes. All needed for our future health
 






just to put it out there - if OTX is going to be such a major win, why would 3 Opth leaders jettison in the past few months ?
Opth is a loss and in the last business review meetings, Abhay closed with 'how much longer should I give this BU before pulling the plug' ?

Tildra ? That I have to just disagree with. Safety data ? Maybe, but there's better efficacy (and access) from 10 or more products. No one is waiting for this one.
