Ahh damn it. Wanted to be 100th post on this very entertaining, true peek into Pacira.
An interesting observation, I do not recall anyone having left Pacira for a better job.
Conversely, quite a few people let go have landed better jobs, with better companies, better culture, better opportunity, and better leadership.
The lesson, there is a light at the end of the tunnel (No, it's not an oncoming train).
 








ive had lunch a couple times with KW in La Jolla. Nothing to write home about. She did not appear to be in touch with field sales, but she doesn’t really have to be. I wish I could say she was brilliant, or witty, or shared deep dark secrets about Pacira. She was neither brilliant or witty. Nor did she shed any light on the inner sanctum.
As for Jim S., well it must have been a match made in heaven. Or Parsippany. Or La Jolla. Ask Jackson Browne......

KW followed JS around like a puppy on a leash at our meetings, never straying too far. No, nothing was going on there! To JS credit, he was the sharpest tool in the Pacira box, however, that's not saying much considering how low the bar was/is.

The current brain trusts: PM, DM, The r***** AD's and the pharmacists who works "remotely" what a joke, she returns all calls within 7-30 days and never leaves her house. Oh well, I will continue to work my 20- 30 hours a week and look for a side hustle, I know 6 reps that are working a second job here!

There was a post months ago asking anyone to name a competent manager. As of today there is still no reply. Is anyone surprised?
BTW, PM did win a couple of COEs*.


*First one was a rip-off, DK didn’t want TX RD to win again. Second, more shade, PM’s region had 10 reps vs. all other 6-8 rep regions. COE based on total revenue of region when it should have been average revenue per rep. Taints both. Doh!
 








Think about all the garbage she actually knows or has personally witnessed and the information she has deliberately chosen not to share with the board (not to mention the investment community). At what point are you complicit if you knowingly withhold? Well she’s a lawyer so she probably is monitoring and protecting herself from that on an hourly basis. What a disappointment to see someone reduce themselves to take on the role of the chief corporate prop. Its very depressing to see this so up close and obvious, you can only feel sorry for her. A missed opportunity for someone in a serious position of power- in an actual position to do something about it and maybe inspire some hope, and to be hero for a change and to wear that cape and be a voice for the voiceless. To not answer that call is such a sad reality and just a mystery. What message does that send to those who genuinely never want to sell out?

How will history judge her with all the illegal, unethical and corrupt activity that was tolerated and thus encouraged on her watch? Wall Street will most certainly applaud, Main Streeters will have to just pound sand as they always do. Begs the question, is she an actual leader- or just a mere lever that gets pulled every now and then? She has a killer salary and too many stock options waiting to vest I suppose, why go ahead and kill the golden goose? And maybe at this point she is being shielded from all kinds of things from the Chief corruptors who think it’s better to not bring her in the loop on certain nefarious activity, so now she takes on a new role as the Chief useful idiot.

Considering her contacts and personal relationships, she likely has very significant employment offers and/or seats on other BOD’s lying in wait when she does ultimately decide to bolt or cash out— so why muck that up? This is how greed corrupts good people I suppose. If you can’t beat ‘em, turn a blind eye and actively cover for them to advance your career. I guess that’s just how the big boys play ball. Such a shame, she could get a meeting with 60 minutes... in probably 60 minutes.

Does she still have a window left, to right the wrongs she has helped cultivate and perpetuate all these years? Not sure if that soul redemption thing is all that it is cracked up to be. Those seats in 1st class are just too comfy.

Will be a miracle if the admin at Cafepharma allow this post to remain.

Cannot think of any sales people who voluntarily left for something better. I believe both of RK's original HR Directors left him for greener pastures. No surprise both are women!! (and over 50).

Agreed the PR team has got their ducks in a row. Shame the marketing geniuses can’t figure out how to get it in the fields hands. AS is a woman you think she’s actually going to get promoted at Pacira?!?

How can any of the new managers be competent considering they were sales reps the day day before without any management experience- I have been managing up for the six months, our new manager is an alcoholic and has no impact on the business plus he is a lapdog for VS & PM.

Just got back from my POA in Chicago and what a waste of time. Why do we have AD's again, complete waste of company resources, zero leadership ability and if I hear "Hey buddy" or "I use to work for Stryker" one more time- Talk about living in the past! Our leadership is an embarrassment, talk about professional stagnation!

She was promised a promotion, but was finally terminated. That should have occurred long ago.

The irony is this suit could have been avoided if RK/HR had addressed the inappropriate behaviors over the years. This was the perfect opportunity for HR to provide remedial corrective actions. Coach her up. Instead RK did what he always does, nothing. DM, PM, & GR acquiesced to appease her rather than coach her.

Think about it, if HR does its job she still has a job, she gets promoted, and we don’t get sued.

I’m fairly new to the organization, so maybe I just can’t grasp the true “deep state” stuff going on here...But most of this just doesn’t add up, on ALL Pacira boards/threads.
