Sadly the incompetence won't be ending. Meg leaving next week isn't going to fix anything. She has made decisions that will impact us for years to come. Promoting DR is just one of those horrible decisions. He has single handedly decimated the IDN team that used to have some great talent. He back filled with them with either newbies who are only interested in the job to add to the resumes or morons like the guy out east.
This isn't leadership, this is just her setting up her cronies and continuing to ruin us after she leaves.
And don't think for a minute that Steve will come our rescue. Where's he been, aside from killing morale on company wide calls? He talked a good game but he's been here 4 months and we're still a hot mess. Like the move from RX Crossroads to Mt. Carmel. That's on his watch and he's completely silent. He's not interested in being an outward leader. He's an introvert that will hide in the background once he finally gets a VP of sales to run things. That Salesman's paradise bullshit? Remember, he's Joe and Giuseppe's hire. He'll do what he's told and never push back, so long as it's good for the bottom line and doesn't upset his bosses.
I'm hoping I'm wrong but the signs don't point to the changes we desperately need.

pretty accurate . Same old stuff will continue with Chris and Melissa protecting their incompetent useless people and ultimately themselves. And Derek surround himself with yes people who don’t challenge him.
 




Negativity spreads during transition periods like this. Steve walked into a complete shit show. Since joining, He has fired multiple VPs and has been working on our supply chain issues while also hiring new leaders. I bet he will hire from outside based on the reasons you stated. Massive Change takes longer than 4 months. If he hires a Meg replacement from within then I stand corrected. I get the feeling that he ain’t here to play bs games like Meg and cronies. They should count their days numbered and look for new jobs.
 




Regardless of whatever the results will be with Meg leaving and a new VP, if Steve or whomever takes anything away from all these post its that we all want better than the way things have been. Better everything. Pay, leadership, products, communication, everything. No more empty promises, just real change.

Left BAX long ago. CC was still inside. Only knew him in passing. From what I’ve pieced together he replaced MM as Philly RD, then back-filled as AD when DC was fired.

Been in this industry for awhile. I have never seen the vitriol toward one individual in my career.
