OMG I know! I am so sick of it and an applying for new jobs. My manager came back for Vegas having had a drink of the PDI koolaid and they are off their rocker. I won't stay around for the abuse at slave wages and I am sure someone else wants this "opportunity" more then I do!!!!!!!

Yes, a truer word has never been spoken! Can't believe that PDI and Innovex haven't merged as yet? Both are in Parsippany, both have highly incompetent management and all take long lunches! Not that this marriage would amount to anything because idiots beget idiots that cannot function together.

Me too! I needed just the right kick in the pants to motivate me out the door and I got it. As soon as an off comes my way I'm gone. I can't wait to see them try to find someone that will do all the things I did for them for no financial gain. Good Luck PDI, because these are jobs that people want

Since we are not paid for the time we spend on district conf calls, is it mandatory that we "attend?"
I've got much better ways to spend my uncompensated time than listening to pretend corporate drivel from my synchophant DM.....

If the contracting companies really knew what they were getting for their money, they'd run so fast.
The ROI on e-detailing has got to be better that what PDI - or most contract sales forces - offer the pharma industry.

You're welcome and you just have to ignore the numb nuts with nothing but air space between their ears. We both know that there is more than one of us.
Was hit in the nuts once and it sure did hurt. Thankfully most of you at Shared don't have to worry about that. Anyway, working for PDI is WORSE than being hit in the nuts, believe me.

I met the "new Enablex" rep from Warner Chilcott in the field today.
Just a brief meeting, she ran off before I could ask her much.
I wonder if this means the EX contract will soon be ending?
Why would they have their own (WC) field force as well as PDI's going forward?

Yes, but mine happened awhile ago, like Dec. What I see is little to no EX samples being left by them and plenty of their new osteoporosis drug. I have no clue.
Could it have been the fact that you were emitting a foul odor of some sort, or perhaps you looked like Igor? I remember one of the W/C reps stating that one of the PDI reps looked like Brunhilde.

I had one "new" WC rep in Oct, mostly osteo promo - actually 99% of her time on osteo. She tells me due to the the bonus structure. Claims to have rec'd next to nothing in training re:EX. Allowed one box of ea strength for samples. She does not have URO's to call on.
This new chick was introduced as the new EX rep, in the same territory. Haven't found out what docs she is targeting.
My concern is - this is the handwriting on the wall. TF goes away in March, only left with EX, and then that goes away.....?

Don't know how long you have been here, but in my experience the is no way to plan anything at PDI SS. Last year as we were losing FXR and getting ready for TF to be gone we picked EX. Some reps starved all summer for calls while other territoires had a full load. It the scariest part of this job: will I have work in 3 months?
Plan for the worst -then you'll always be covered.
FYI: I also have a WC rep calling on Uros - EX samples everywhere - and gods knows they are not from me (here's your 1 bottle of 7.5mg and 1 bottle of 15mg, see you next month to replenish....!)

Oh joy. Feast or famine! I have very few samples in my territory. My plan for the worst is to get out. I am not pleased the the "new direction" to hold us accountable for all the "big Pharma" goals with little budget or materials. Held to reach and frequency on docs we can't see or having run our own cars into the ground to get to them all. It's not flexible anymore.
