I have to agree with the other poster, if I were the board, I'd be asking Joe some serious questions.

I also heard the rumor about Michigan/Ohio. At least, that means JD will be gone again. Anyone else think he uses Restlyne in those lips? All the better to suck up with......
 






The board must be blind or Joe has something on them; no bunch of guys investing that kind of money could be that stupid; then again, look what happened at the company and it's their responsibilty as well. Wish someone had the balls to tell them what's going on before all of us lose our stock value...not that there is any.

You know, you are absolutely right! Perhaps another letter is in order. This time a letter about business issues and not petty, personal crap by a vindictive, incompetent RBD.

Anyone with suggestions as to what should be sent to the board, please post. I'm serious and please post serious suggestions only. I will be putting together a letter that will be sent to the board and who knows, perhaps they may actually care.

They paid attention when JD wrote about DB/VF.....
 






I have a question for JD and Larson. How does DiSalvo still have a job with that kind of negative growth? Boy, good thing he's not a woman, he would be gone! If he was a woman, he'd be gone even with positive growth!

He wrote an anonymous letter to the board after he was fired in retaliation for his firing. Then like the idiot he is, bragged about it. Of course, it made Joe look foolish for not knowing what was going on. What I really don't understand is Joe letting him be hired back!

I'd watch your back. This guy is not to be trusted. He started bad mouthing Larson as soon as his promotion was announced out one side of his mouth and kissing up out of the other. Of course, never had anything good to say about Tanksley either. Always Tankley's fault that he was late for deadlines....Tankley couldn't handle a budget... and on and on. And of course, his lack of love for Dooling is no secret. He basically broadcasts that. How did he get re-hired and how has he lasted this long? I would love to know what he has and on whom!

Did you ever happen to hear his tirade on Hironimus? Unbelievable! He hates anyone associated with USS/Covidien.

As for missing deadlines...his favorite trick is to send the email and not attach the file that is due or attach the wrong file. By the time it's noticed he has the task completed and sends the correct one. Priceless!

I think a letter should include the state of the business climate and how Joe has not had a handle on what's been doing on since before DB left. You should quote all the good people they fired when things were on the upswing. Along with Joe's heavy handed tactics and yes, to one poster's note, women are the first to go and it's not unnoticed. There have been no clinical studies (what the hell does DE do anyway and why is he still here?), nobody to write papers but people we pay and most of all no revenue. How about quoting some correct numbers for a change? Maybe direct them to this thread.

As for DE, according to him we don't need studies as evidenced by his statement to not lead with studies at the NSM. Good God man, have you not heard of evidenced based medicine?
 












Wow, sounds as if JD is in trouble again. His dislike with US surgical could be a positive one. Dooling is a piece of work anyway. She will take over any large account she can get her name on. HSS and so forth. Try the cleveland clinic. The old rep there experienced it first hand. Leading without studies is exactly what not to do. Look at healthcare and the cost associated with the process. Very true, if you cannot validate your results run from them. Tell that to a approval committee. Very nice. One other thing, if you demonstrate you care about your hard work and what you accomplish you will be fired as well. Be careful who you discuss these concepts with. Trust is not located within this institution. I enjoy all the passion about your work ethic and goals from these post. Some company, one day, will apprecitate everyone on you. DE has mouthed those same words since he was hired. He's nothing but a statistician and Joe thinks he's the greatest thing here but yet he's never accomplished anything. What cards is he holding? You are right about no trust; damn shame. This place used to be fun. From what I hear, the technology is past it's day and not they're grabbing at straws in trauma. Yea sure - every ER doc and nurse is going to go running to get a generator and supplies while someone's bleeding to death. What were they smoking in NH?

Actually, there was another thread that disappeared...
But, you are correct in that the last month has seen a severe decline in morale with the new comp plan, a number of people fired/leaving, a number were fired right before the holidays and that's just not cool, crap study published, lack or any real strategy etc.

It's really been all downhill for the last year and really starting to show. The next 6-9 months should be interesting. Can they deliver on the new products promised at the NSM? Will they sell? Will they succeed in Brain? Have they gotten approval in this space?

We shall see......
