See ..... There ya go, you're making some real head way. Baby Steps...Baby Steps. You're showing remarkable improvements. Before you know it you'll actually be stringing together Nouns & Adjectives - Verbs and Adverbs ... all in the same sentences. Good on you mate - real growth

So, I was contacted for a rep position in Virginia. Did the phone screen....another phone screen...then went to the F2F, with 3 other people that day.

I was offered the job the next day for 52k; with 11 years experience and 1 Presidents club(in Pain market), my ego was crushed at the initial offer. I asked for 60k as a counter(not working now, but last salary for N Virginia was 82k), but was not called back, not by the recruiter, the ERM or the hiring DM. Classy.

They are lowballing everyone - why? Because the CAN!

Desperate times call for desperate measures; good luck to the ones hired, but for the DMs - you are kidding yourself if you don't realize that 1/2 of the highly qualified people that accepted your lowball offer will leave soon, at the first legitimate salary offer.

Cheap companies buy uninspired sales reps - after the shiny, new feeling wears off - the talent will leave in droves.

So you chose 0 instead of 52k? Genius.

The Ohio DMs are Rob and Jeff. I interviewed with them both but did not get the job. Was never told why not.

Rob looks like Matt Lauer.
I was flirting it up big time with him, lots of winking, smiles, and hand petting.
He is the only DM I have met, but I hope the others are as hot as him. I wanna see what under those Khaki's.
