Sales Force...

I'm sorry for you - I too know what it's like to need a job. But you need to reach out and make contact with the ERM/Recruiter for your area. If it's been 3 wks...I'd say you should move on - but not before getting a solid answer from InVentiv folks if they have an interest in you. If your answer is "No" - don't get down. Get right back after the next opportunity and go after with your head held high. In fact - you should work with the Inventiv ERM on other possible opportunities in your area thru Inventiv. They are a big company with many contracts and projects in the works. If they won't help --- they are not interested in you!

Thanks for your response. As I indicated in my previous post, I did reach out to the InVentiv recruiter I've been working with who replied she has not heard from management. I am just curious if this is the "norm" for some territories. I, too, would assume that after three weeks of not hearing back, the job is not mine and that I move on, but without a definitive answer, it leaves me in limbo. My head is held high; I just need to know whether to accept another position or to keep waiting in hopes I am the "chosen one." I prefer to work for Iroko.

This is a no brainer -Sister if you have another opportunity- You Take it! period! Even if it's for a lower salary, which I doubt. If Iroko does come after you later - then you have another decision to make. Ever heard the expression "Bird in hand--- better than the bush?" Actually, I just wanted to say Bush....gets me all jellowy inside

I am in same exact position as you, but its been a little over 2 weeks. Last contact with recruiter a few days ago and the answer was that decisions were still being made. I just want an answer either way! I too prefer to work for Iroko, so it would be great to know if the process is completed.

Ahhh! We have a common bond. . .the wait game. God Bless You whatever path is chosen.

I had my face to face screening today, I am suppose to hear in the next 24 hours whether or not I will get to the panel interview. Today was STAR format, pretty informal, in a restaurant.

All you have to do is read the previous threads on here and on the ventiv board. It happened time and time again....The recruiters told us a certain base salary range and then upon arriving for the F2F interviews that number was decreased significantly. Its not an ethical way to secure good candidates...I was really disappointed in Ventiv and Iroko for being so misleading and heard it said by numerous people interviewing at the hotel site.

You folks that are complaining are making some incorrect assumptions. Lets see if this information helps you and then you can make decisions from there, rather than being all frustrated. Yes, the recruiters are providing you with a salary RANGE.... This includes all territories across the country. They are not lying to you because people have honestly been hired at all points along that salary range already. Each of the territories is assigned a maximum salary amount based on variables like potential, cost of living, etc. so the DM's hands are tied if you are a candidate with extensive experience (hopefully with a high level of performance ...cuz that is important too) and you are seeking a territory position that is assigned a lower dollar amount for salary due to those qualifying factors. For example, a DM with 8 territories may have 3 territories where 55-60k is the max, 2 with 60-65k max, 2 with 65-70k max and 1 high potential territory where they can pay up to 75k. I realize that many of you believe that you are rock stars and that you deserve the MAXIMUM salary at the top of the scale but its NOT gonna happen! It's silly to get offended or feel lied to....that is the structure (it's quite common these days)

Hopefully that lessens your frustration a little... Don't assume the worst and that decent people are trying to wrong you. Think about it... the DM's are trying to build the strongest teams they can so they are doing their absolute best to offer what is possible. Work within the system and make decisions not based on pride, but on opportunity....... or just keep moving on if you don't buy into the product or the company. Simple.

He saying is 'a bird in hand is worth two in the bush' numb nuts

No. He's saying his nuts get numb when they are in the bush - but that's always better than being in the Hand. pecker head So take waht you can and give a little back-smack

Everybody is a comedian these days. Very funny So-honest question here, Anyone seen any updates or indications of where the approval will fall on Zovorlex? Is this on track for the 18th?

The recruiters work for Ventiv! The company you would be employed and paid by. If you can't believe what they tell you is the base salary for the job, then what else is inflated? I did ask the questions...to the recruiter and the ERM....then later they changed their responses....hence why so many are upset!!!! For experienced reps the new base salary range is at an industry low!!!

No one is being a victim...geez...this is a blog where you are supposed to be able to air your opinions and views. Who made you so almighty??

I agree with reply: InVentiv is the payer, not "hiring authorities". One should be able to trust the word of any recruiter for a company of integrity. Maybe these authorities will make more by paying workers less....? Should these authorities be accepting of candidates saying they have more experience than is reality? Who are you to expect people to be honest and true to their word? I guess that's a different story.

But the OFFERS are below the RANGE.

Above: I get your idea, but your just not correct. There are a ton of start-up using a CSO these days and this is not just for an easy and painless exit if bad start. In fact, more companies are going with a CSO these days than are building their own commercial ops for a variety of reasons... Most notably it's cheaper, also- The CSO's do it better and it prevents the organizational waste of re-inventing the wheel. If you studied business or management at all - you would have to agree this is the smart play - regardless of your confidence in future of a brand/product. PS-- a less expensive Commercial Op's start-up makes Product success more likely...you get this right?

Whatever - just trying to have a conversation. I must be talking with a liberal progressive as this is what you folks do these days - if you can't have / or choose not to have an intelligent conversation -- you just name call and try and marginalize the other party. Say what you wish. I'm right and you just look stupid with your chocolate syrup comment. Have a nice day -
