Sales Force...

I just got the f2f in Dallas, I told them I would go, but I got an offer at a real company so I plan on just not showing up. I talked to the rep going in after me, what a joke this company is. Good Luck on that launch. ba ha ha ha

Look idiots: It's real simple - this company's propritary technology will make a difference in the market. It will take time and effort. They will not launch their NSAID and instantly gain market share because of pricing and generics available. However, as they gain Managed care improvements and show a few months of aggressive sustainability -- they will begin to take share from Celebrex and other brand NSAID which is about a 3.5 billion/yr market. So, do the math. If after 1 year they can press to 10% MS with better/safer brand--this is 350mill. Happy, Happy Happy! But they will have to SPEND to get there

good luck getting anyone off celebrex ... ! docs love the pfizer rep.

What pfizer rep ??? They were probably laid off in one of the 2-3 reduction rounds since 2009. And the active rep in the territory has a big bag of Pfizer tricks. not so focused on celebrex. The business is there for taking, maybe not completely - but in part. And part of that chunk of change is all this company needs for first couple years

I live in Tennessee and the Inventiv recruiter who contacted me said the base would be $65-$70. Then when I had my phone interview with the Iroko hiring manager he said the base would be $50-$60. I told him I was informed differently by the recruiter and he said his hands were tied from Iroko's side but that since Inventiv would actually be paying the salaries that perhaps they could go as high as $65 but certainly not $70.

Not good Elroy! If Iroko is going to try and capture MS from an increasingly generic NSAID market..they better be prepared to spend some cash. If they approach this from a wanting champagne on a beer budget..this whole thing is doomed from the start. If they want recent college graduates with no experience - they can get this at 50-60. If they want experience and sales professionals, they will need to not worry about the 15k more in salaries.

I am really annoyed about the salary discussion because I was also told 70-75 but than in my interview they said that was not the case and I would be lucky to get 68. This really pissed me off because they are being very inconsistent and this is not a good way to start a relationship with their reps.

Agreed. Same story here

Iroko will only pay $60K and any person who interviews who has made more than that in base previously will not be considered. According to their corporate strategy, those people that made more than $60K if hired, would be considered a flight risk. Far be it, in this economy, to extend an offer to a seasoned rep and let him or her determine if they can support their lifestyle on $60 K. Their logic is warped. BTW, the drug has no studies to back up the claims it has a better side effect profile due to dosing. It only can be inferred. The FDA and the MD's will love that.

Not true. I made more than $60 and still got an offer. Several former DMS got offers and I am certain they made more.
