The lies our sales managers were allowing reps to tell were fucking embarrassing and beneath anything I’ve ever seen at Zimmer in my 15 years with Big Blue. Now the jury is back in and the whole medical device industry knows this tech is absolute dogshit. Face it. We went head to head with Stryker on this and lost…bad.

Mako only cuts, slow translating image to workflow, 10 years old with no updates (software/hardware). Rosa has way more features and faster workflow. Get off your hump and sell.

I’m honestly amazed at how out of touch this guy is. We have outpaced MAKO’s growth rate over our first 2.5 years. You should probably just leave the company. You are toxic.
I know a rep who uses it and was excited at first but now after some time he lost money on contract pricing and it now sits and collects dust. Any competent surgeon will see there will be no clinical difference going traditional vs robot and this just takes up time. Marketing effect minimal these days as well. Toxic is those who need to hit their numbers on a reps back. So many managers all willing to throw any and everyone under the bus to save their paychecks.
