Restasis Contract Sales Force

Rattled no. Disappointed and shocked that information that should not be posted on a public forum for the competition to read yes. It’s one thing to give advice on team communication and how to win but to talk about over estimated numbers of the Green Team that left for better opportunities. Use your head when you talk on here. Good Day.

You have no real visibility to those real numbers. Go back to your cubicle.

So we are going to have smaller territories with 3 reps and managers on top of us. This ought to be good.

It sure makes those smaller companies with solo territories look more attractive. Abbvie seems to have a primary care mentality with a focus on more more more when it comes to call metrics and activity reports, regardless of what the business actually dictates. Too bad they couldn't leave Allergan alone and continue to allow reps to run and grow their business like adults. It's sad to see the change in mentality and culture as the focus shifts more and more to a PC style of territory management and focus on quantity vs. quality. Just about anyone can show up and throw up and bunch of memorized talking points, what happened to having a real conversation about the doctor and their practice to try to grow and expand use of our products? Not to mention prefillment and addressing issues. We used to be seen as resources for these offices, they appreciated our knowledge and help. But who has time for that now when it seems that all that matters is who can make the most calls every day?

So are all our territory footprints going to change? When?

They said January on the conference call.

So some territories are staying the same and getting a third rep, some are shrinking and only having two reps? And the green team is staying the same (are their footprints not changing)?

This is a complete shitshow... Why not just tell us what the plan is?

The trend of complaining and back seat driving continues to be the norm here. We are in a share of voice market that can be maximized with team communication and holding each other accountable. The idea that this is so difficult to understand is just bizarre. Only a small percentage of representatives that believe less is more. Under that management got you here and can continue the momentum. Good day.

Oh, hey, Good Day Poster, you're back. We were worried you got lost on the way back from the Safe Space Convention!

Could not agree more!!

Could not agree more!!

It isn’t the minority which believe it, it’s the entire hired sales force. Why add reps when the plan for those new reps and managers isn’t even in place? Wouldn’t those who are looking forward to launching a product like to know if their doctors and territory is the same so they can effectively plan for success? The unknown, lack of transparency and rush to hire and add is a recipe for disaster of large magnitude. How can we not know what we are carrying, who we are calling on, and who our manager is moving forward?!

Actually it is not close to the entire sales force. Stay on track with your current deployment. Don’t worry about what your territory will look like in the future or who your doctors will be. The task immediately in front of us is most important. When the appropriate time comes for us to swap change directions you will be notified in ample time to plan. In the meantime continue to do your jobs and maximize our share of voice. Good day.

Here's a hint... more share of voice =/= more profitability. Effective reps having effective conversations do though. More of us running around annoying doctors and staff isn't making them want to write more brand. You sound like a marketing drone who has never carried a bag or actually spoken with a provider or their staff in the field.

I'd go so far as to say you still think the Restasis boxes were a good idea because they 'increase our share of voice in the office".

don’t worry what your territory will look like or who your doctors will be? Are you serious? We aren’t primary care? FU!
