QUITE POSSIBLY THE WORST COMPANY IN THE INDUSTRY

To the salary question. TM's make base of 70-75K and 175K at plan. If you work hard you can make well over 200K. I made 198K last year. I don't know much about DSS and AE salary. Great company to work for however I can't tell you in a year from now I will saying the same thing. I will make over 200K this year.

But he has absolutely no class whatsoever.

Guess you didn't get the job. or was it that you didn't keep your job? Too bad, we could use more positive people like you at Cytyc.

Let me save you from posting and say this must be steve or a kool aid drinking manager because it is something negative about whiny douchebags [you] that cant sell.

yes, I got the job. No, I did not suck cock to get it. I put up sales numbers and got promoted. funny how that works.

What's really funny is how stuffing accounts earns promotions.

The successful people who stuffed accounts and made big paychecks got promoted. Since they really couldn't sell, just stuff, they became brutal managers. The good people working for them ended up leaving or looking for new jobs, just waiting for the opportunity to get out of dodge. When will managers realize that the scum will be left and the cream gone to better places. Personally, I will be leaving at the end of the quarter and can't wait to get out. I feel for my friends left behind.

Let me get this straight... Anyone that was successful stuffed their accounts, got big paychecks, and was promoted? The ones that are not successful are the good sales people. That makes sense.

Thanks for the warning that you are going to quit. The stock will probably tank once you and your 82% territory leave.

Your not seeing the big picture and the point. They got BIG paychecks and were promoted.

So, what is the point? Someone who can pull off deals is a good salesperson? I don't see the point there. These jokers look like they converted a whole lot of doctors but actually they sold deals. Then, they get promoted and pound on the reps under them to continue to blow out the number, which they can only do by making deals. Sooner or later, these folks gets screwed when they can't sell anything anymore. Then the wonderful saleperson, now a manager, moves on for another job where their inflated sales numbers get them another higher paying job. If this is the way you want to live your life, go for it.

Sounds like reps would stock up accounts at the end of the quarter to hit thier number. Also sounds like Hologic doesn't want to run a business this way. I can't blame them. Cutting deals at the end of the quarter on disposables is not a very smart business concept. You lower your ASP, and penalize sales for the next month or two. Cutting deals on capital at the end of the qtr makes sense, because you are trying to get the PO on the books.

How will this transition away from stocking up accounts affect sales performance and income? Hologic took a huge hit to the stock because the Novasure numbers are way off. Pat Sullivan is gone-times are a changing.

Well, sales performance and income will both be slightly off won't they?

Especially compared to the past 4 quarters! Look, it all has been fixed (band aid placed) at the end of last quarter...quotas were adjusted and people are making money again. WAKE UP TO THIS FACT, TRUE GROWTH IS UNKNOWN!!!!!

Pssst, just don't tell Wall Street that "stuffing" was the REAL number Hologic saw when looking to buy Cytyc. To sum up this thread, stuffing was encouraged, people made money, companies were bought, stock looked like a perfect split opportunity, and promotions came forward not based on leadership skill but rather playing the numbers game (FYI, stuffed numbers don't qualify for ability to motivate and encourage as a proper manager).

Let's make it easy for the stock buying masses who are looking hard at NovaSure/Hologic. Great product, product market leader, little to no competition; problem is unqualified management (plan is in place, just need to eject a few and fix some mistakes) not to mention the hopeful approval on new sterilization product in pipeline. Easy. Let's see if they follow the path they say they will...stop the loading, stop the end of quarter bullying, stop forcing the customer to comply. 1987 was 21 years ago and Gordon Gecko was a fictional character in a movie. That crap management doesn't work anymore.

Just get Adiana approved and enjoy the ride...assuming Jack isn't once bitten twice shy...otherwise, JnJ would you like to have the market share on ablation? ThermaChoice needs some help.

They are headed in this direction and will not waiver. Problem is, who will stick around when comp is cut?????????? Why do you think PMRs don't make $170k?
