PIPs already?!

If all this is true, and they are firing over performance based reasons, without a definitive plan…100’s of .rx’s are not be approved on commercial ins… this is a big fat class action lawsuit against Phathom if the affected employees conglomerate would purpose “ power in numbers “ group and bring in a big atty … the hatred for big pharma is real and prevalent ….I think there is a wrongful termination case against them in the making, and I know the mismanagement of rx’s and lies regarding everything….,

No. It was right out of the blue. My manager told me at the end of the day let's go to Starbucks and debrief. She pulled the PIP paperwork right out of her backpack. I felt like crying, but I was in public. My manager told me it would be best to get my resume updated and start looking. She said the company is designing these PIPS so that nobody can recover from them. She said she fully expects to get put on a PIP soon herself. The company wants to start next year with a significant number of reps and managers fired without severence to save money.

This really happened. The good news is that I now have an interview next week for a better job.
I forgot to say the PIP was for 30 days. You only have 4 weeks from the date of issue to get your numbers up to an impossibly high goal.

This plan might as well be the equivalent of telling a rep for example “you underperformed in April and you have 30 days to fix April, but it’s September now.

Agree. Phathom Pharma is failing. As a cover up they are blatantly lying and unethically placing reps on performance plans with no prior documented issues, basing their PIP on TRX’s where hundreds are denied by commercial insurance, judging reps TRX on a 30 day window that is over. And this my friends is why Phathom won’t actively arm the sales force with pull through data.

Class action lawsuit yes. Someone want to post an attorney phone number we can call collectively? Who can get this moving?

This company is wrongfully terminating large groups of employees. They are lying and concealing evidence. The RX’s are written. The RX’s are hung up in denials, rejected for coverage, sitting at Blink Rx, left at local pharmacies bc price quoted is $700. Phathom is withholding this data from its’ sales force. They essentially have a blind sales force. Phathom is manipulating data to serve their purpose of reducing headcount. Their headcount reduction plan goal is eliminate reps and managers, to not pay severance, not pay benefits, not pay salary and bonus, not grant the stock RSU’s granted that vest on Dec 1st. Eighty reps and this is only the start.

The PIP is intentionally vague so your performance cannot be measured to come off the plan. The 30 days of RX’s for the PIP period are over due to 4 weeks lag time. There is no way to measure your progress.

Every single rep affected needs to fight. Contact an attorney. Go after this place. If you find someone who wants to take this on, figure out a way to let reps know. Lock arms and help each-other- bc the people at the top are going to have a very Merry Christmas.

My manager has made it very clear and I’ve helped her build OUR business plan. This “conspiracy” that the company is downsizing and looking to lay people off for free is absolutely ridiculous. I just got my PIP from my manager. We were on a field ride and he pulled it out at lunch at Applebee's. Im not surprised. About half of my district is on one now. I was allready looking for another job anyway.
