Getting sold can have many scenarios, depends on who buyer is. If someone sacrificed a current job for this job, they could get the equity offered in buyers stock/or cash. The management could also negotiate to keep employees (although for short period of time: Horizon/Amgen). This would be a great gig for someone unemployed or a Primary Care rep looking to get into specialty. One thing for certain, if the drug is approved, the pressure will be Very High, because the goal is to be sold. The manager I got an offer from didn’t hesitate to tell me One Quarter miss = PIP.
