Phathom

I did, provided it before my virtual interview, little the good little puppet I am.

I’ll never understand the need for busywork, especially before they even hire you. Back in the 90’s, they would just give you a list of zip codes and maybe names, train you on the science, and you hit the field. We got the job done just fine. It’s really not complicated, like they pretend it is these days.

Take a look in the mirror, because the industry has passed you by…

I agree-I know someone that promoted pepcid, claritin and she said its not rocket science….won p club in those days. still had to provide value as a person other than the concessions that were allowed back then too. we called on the same docs just 20 years apart.

also congrats to staying in the industry this long. I don’t believe in calling people sheep/names or making fun of them for their age or experience/lack of.

I won p club at a fortune 500 company by just working the full day most of the time. i did a few weekends at the pharmacies. I did not follow a business plan i just shower up at the offices that were receptive. i wish i could just say this in the interview because unless i am missing something….lol. ur right nothings changed since the 90’s except laws.

Hmmm, I guess I struck a nerve with the 30/60/90 comment. My point was, as someone that has interviewed many representatives, is that it became so common place to present one that they all looked the exact same. Hell, go google them for pharma or med device and you will get a template. My approach as a hiring manager is completely different as anyone can create a document telling me you will learn the products and territory, route high value HCPs and schedule lunches, build relationships with staff, HCPs and pharmacists, etc etc. I look for someone that can engage me in a quality conversation for an hour without me looking at my watch. Why? Because I can’t coach that, I can coach all the other stuff.

Your outlook and approach should be every hiring managers process. Kudos to you.

Our teams are making the final preparations for a combined December 2023 U.S. commercial launch for H. pylori along with the anticipated launch of vonoprazan for Erosive GERD, if approved. It’s Not the Indication needed to support this sales force expansion. If the GERD doesn’t pass, it’s lights over. That indication is scheduled for November 17th or possibly earlier (though likely not).
