Straight Up candid. Its not efficacy, its the nasty side effects, when docs getting calls o. 24/7 living in bathroom vomiting guts out & leaving trail of sh i t all over house, Houston thats a problem & no doc will force pt to stay on that wants to switch.
I.G sold Gilead swamp land. Merck's TNBC drug as good without side effects & 500 reps will be launching it.

The drug had bunch fan fare being for TNBC with efficacy data but real world post launch it has ran into a wall with thousands being put on therapy only to drop off by the 2nd dose. Many the 1st dose.... due to nasty side effects.
AZ TNBC drug doesn't have our SE plus with 300 more reps, will be the gold standard.
We are not growing & starting to see decline due to patient compliance & rapid negative patient word of mouth.
I am just thrilled to make 7 figures on the Gilead buyout & complete the retention bonus period. Like my existing colleagues, I will start looking after the holidays.
(Above comment about Gilead buying bill of goods that was really swamp land is true. They were sold a story & bought it hook line sinker )

Wake up people.
The access in oncology is essentially nonexistent. Even infusion nurses don’t want to see reps. The biggest companies have multiple reps trying to get access and they get priority over the small players which rarely happens anyway. LOW-to-NO-access.

A lot of hype & anticipation w being TNBC, then since launch the Real World Experience has been terrible w patient compliance & tolerance.
Nobody wants or will see us now.
Calls it "the little dirty drug"
 


















2nd week on board and I am having 2nd regrets. Our ERD VP & Pres are clueless to what is needed to move a flatline drug that has developed a reputation by patients & now doctors as a dirty drug.
We need to scrap all this BS strategy & marketing stupid as Brand team developed & face head on these nasty side effect issues patients complain about. It will not get better & only worse as more more pts drop therapy so must address it and minimize.
I regret leaving my old co as Gilead Oncology leadership doesnt know what hell doing.
And the President is beyond clueless.... how did she get that high of a position?

You clearly didn’t do your due diligence before accepting the job, no one’s fault but yours. As a former employee I can say you’re in for a miserable life there so suck it up

Johanna does not know what she is doing with the exec leadership she has hired.
A poor nasty side effect drug with a primary care mindset leader, equals worse division in Gilead to work.
As a manager who just left after the retention bonus said, "this is a dog of a drug that nobody can stay on and IG sold G actual swamp land a with a picture of Turks."

80% of the employees voluntary left including VP & ERDs & NSD last few months after 100k retention bonus was paid out.
If it was even a decent drug with good feedback and support from the Oncologists then nobody would have left let along all leadership.
