New Kyprolis Sales Team thoughts at Onyx?





Damn, get over it, just because you didn't get the job in FL doesn't mean you have to continue to hate. Haters are confused admirers!! Those folks in FL are banking and I wouldn't worry about them.
 



Heard that JF hit her noggin while trying to talk and walk in an account this week...not paying attention and bam...everyone was laughing except the idiot. When she opens her mouth and air starts going thru her nasal passage, it sound like an old English foghorn.
 



That was a fun quarter. Anyone know when goals are going out? Not sure to sandbag sales or tear it up until we get the goals? Hope they do something like last time, that was a fun sprint to the finish!! Would be nice to let the newbees get the same opportunity for success? Just my 2 cents!!
 



So how did everything go at the first week of training? Heard you guys are getting screwed already, especially with the car allowance and bonus plan? Feedback so far is everyone had to go out and buy a car upon hire without parameters, then they are cutting the allowances and mileage back to .33 after the fact. Also, heard they are not paying you guys out until August 20th, by then they can see the trends and set the goals accordingly. Heard the benefits suck too. Sure smells like big pharma all over again? Enjoy!!

Either.......the training that the poster said sucks.....is any of the training good?

Well you are either on the KI side or the PI side and since very few people have gone through KI training recently and the director is fairly new, my guess is they are talking about the PI side and I have no idea if it is good or not. I think the KI trainer/training was great. Down to earth, adult learning, no tests, all good from my perspective.
 









Well Kyprolis team, it looks like the party is over and all the promises of this great biotech opportunity at hire is now over unfortunately, my prior had a better overall package, but left on a chance with a new start up biotech.

At hire we were all promised the moon of a great biotech start up opportunity, and this is what we all have now:

- Promised: Both Car Allowance and mileage. We are now getting a small allowance and gas card, no allowance
- Promised: Large yearly raises - We all are getting 2-3% at best
- Promised: Large yearly options (1500 options promised in March 2013) - We are getting no more options, restricted units only, not worth barely anything

Should have stayed where I was if I would have known all these promises were going to be broken within 8 months!! Oh well. Made over 50K in 4 months and now looking for that next great biotech startup. Was fun while it lasted? If you keep taking away from the salesforce, turnover and resentment begins and you are just another pharma company making the same mistakes. Didn't see this coming. Checking out new biotech's now and lining up the interviews. I am not the only one, many are doing the same. Nothing keeping us here anymore and bonuses are gonna suck moving forward.
 



Was promised same here too! Was shocked when I just heard about the restricted options and minimal raises. Car is next! What is the upside here anymore? Heard Ariad is expanding and Raptor and Pharmacyclics recruiting soon. Wasn't going to check them out, but think I may.

“Start-up opportunity”??? Really??? Onyx was a startup eight years ago…sorry if you were in big pharma primary care back then and you keep missing the big payday...
 



Too funny. Onyx is just another big pharma with lousy benefits though. This ship has already sailed and you missed the boat back in 2005. Thats when it was a start up. We are just place holders until the company is sold and then its back to looking for a job. Get a clue and quit whinning.
 






Who thinks the bonus is going to suck for the KI side again?! One good quarter and back to nothing. Bayer at least is still keeping the launch bonus plan. Btw, are we in launch mode? How are the PI bonuses going?

Oh please, this organization is bloated! Plus full of frauds, and power hungry people...what can we do??? Somewhere...someone...way up high...let others make decisions to put people in charge with little or no talent, education or experience. A recipe for disaster when 'real' work needs to get done (like increasing sales in a falling market). Too many people doing nothing important on KI is a clear example.
