New GSK Diabetes Contract

Probably no more than 5 Star questions. A lot easier questions than I've had before with other companies. Be specific. No detailing. No questions on competitors. Be passionate. Why do you want to work for GSK if asked? inVentiv? And make sure you close them! If you don't close them, you are pretty much DQ'd! Trust me!

I completely agree with this post. Almost exactly the same experience I had. Has anyone else heard from their recruiter after the interview? I have not.

Did you interview with Regional?

I did (not any of the previous posters). I think people either want to hear "you are the choice pending approval, and we will send out an official offer" or "I'm sorry but we have have decided to move forward with a different candidate at this time." I think everyone is just going to have to be patient.

Word is we should hear after Tuesday, if drug is approved. If you are chosen, manager should reach out by end of week, possibly even by Thursday. They want to have everyone hired by May 16th.

There were multiple territories where more than 1 candidate went on to meet with RM. At least in Atl this past week so I would guess it was happening in LA and will happen in Dallas too.

Seems a little disorganized. My recruiter told me that it would definitely only be one rep per territory meeting with RM. I moved on but now I'm wondering if others did too in my area. Anyone told they are NOT getting the job?

I met a rep that found out very soon after their interview that they would not be moving forward. This person seemed very solid and had tons of experience. I felt bad for them..probably because they were not in my area..lol

I also believe that I was not the only person sent to the RM.
While I was there I watched her with take numerous people to her room to talk.
It would be nice if they would send an email saying you did not get the job.

I witnessed other people being talked to that weren't moved on, I assume they are the back up so they at least talked to them face to face. Some people just received calls/texts. The gals tried being very discreet and I really liked that you didn't have to stay in one room for hours making small talk. I've been in that situation. This process was very professional and discreet as can be in a mass hiring situation. That was my LA experience.

I did not make the cut and have decided to get out of the industry or maybe it was decided for me:) I have a strong resume but have a recent gap and that seems to negate 20 years of successful specialty experience? That corporate thinking amazes me.

I am going to pursue a lower paying but more steady career vs fighting for these scraps and looking for a new job every few years.

Anyone else have similar experience? Thanks and good luck to everyone. The good side is i have made some life long friends in this industry so no regrets
