Does anyone know how long the contract is for?
I heard from a source it's a two year contract, as per the usual contracts now a days
Amylin is a company in flux, but had some brilliant minds who created their products. That being said, a LOT- actually everything- hinges on FDA approval of their Bydureon (sp?) product, and I would imagine that if it does not get approved, all of these job posts will be erased. Go ahead and apply if you need the work, but keep tabs on the FDA approvals site to see what happens
Have a phone interview next week.
For crying out loud it is going to be a CONTRACT. That means it's shit. Period. We all know that. Only some of us can admit it.
This is not right at all. I have worked on a contract through Quintiles with Eli Lilly selling Humalog and Byetta. Lilly reps do not make 100k base. After bonus yeah some of them do but your basic PCP reps makes 65-75. Amylin actually pays their reps better than most big pharma. My last Amylin counterpart was making 90 base. You getting an interview with NN or Lilly has nothing to do with your being a cso. I have interviewed with both after being a cso. With the industry being so competitive most of the people getting hired no someone internally. Most of these positions, Lilly especially, have already been filled before they are posted. They have to post them publicly for HR reasons.
WRONG. Once a CSO forever screwed.

heard only DM candidates interviewing now-is this true?
