New Diabetes Sales Specialist positions?

is the pay really only 70 base? No way I can go for this. I told the recruiter I was looking for a base in the 90's and she didn't blink. Still waiting for my phone call for the f2f. Maybe I scared them away. Not gonna leave my big pharma position for this anyway, just wanted to see what the deal was.

Regardless of the position, 70k is high and you will not see much more than that in a base maybe 72 or 73. The one reason pharma likes to outsource is cost savings and they can get that here. If you still have a 90 plus base working for big phamra count your blessings and save your money. At some point in time you will be axed. More than likely you did scare off the recruiter.

Totally agree with above. The salaries vary so much now with a much lower base. The days of 90k base are long gone. I have been interviewing and find it very interesting the salary range for what we do. Let's be real here...regardless of base we truly get paid a lot compared to someone who is a hard physical laborer. So stay at your 90k job save like never before and pray you're not faced with unemployment and the only offer that comes in is at 50k base. Good luck!

Yes the pay does suck but if it seems to be all I can get.

I was offered a position with a base of 92. Yes, decent bases are out there folks.

have been told by a recruiter that there have been no offers and won't be until product is approved therefore whoever is posting they got an offer already is not telling the truth-why use this board for BS comments-it doesn't help the rest of us who are looking for legitimate information on a new contract

I am a recruiter and you were told wrong. Probably did not want to make you feel bad. I know of 17 offers for these positions on this contract. Fact. Happy New Year. Try Burger King.

Why would you even consider a job with such low pay and lack of bennies? These jobs suck and are a joke to get. You basically just sign up and it's yours. Is this really what you want to call your career with a college education? People there are jobs out there. I have had 3 offers in the last 6 weeks. Get moving and get a respectable postion, THEY ARE OUT THERE.

I have a face to face next week and very excited for the opportunity, but I am a new mom and can't be away from my daughter for 9 days if I get the job. Can anyone confirm this is accurate information? Thank you
