MS Division What Happened?

Just started interviewing for MS position. Obviously not many people post positively on here but role was made to sound too good to be true. Medication with outstanding results and new(ish) six year data, no cap commission with decent numbers for 100% to plan hit, good territory sizes. What’s the biggest thing I may be missing? Are layoffs or a reorg imminent? Goals actually unattainable? Just looking for some truth.

Of course what job have you ever seen where the recruiters and hiring mgr don’t up sell it. That’s their jobs to do that. Apparently you are either very guillable or desperate for a job. These 2 traits are usually what lands reps here.

Wow what a bunch of happy and positive employees answering the posts of a someone who was just like them at one point. Look, am I happy? Yes. Can I pay my bills? Yes. Has culture changed? Of course, it does every couple of years no matter where you are. Leadership shifts, so does moral and culture. Is the molecule good? I think it’s great and although we have challenges it’s not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Don’t let these pissed off older generation of “we can’t do what we want anymore” pharma reps misguide you.

Be prepared for the following.
1) 3 day field rides with a manager a year on the job. Every 3 weeks no this is not a joke.
2) KPI's up the ass.
3) Goals you will never hit. Last quarter 35% hit goal.
4) Constant account plans nobody will ever look at.
5) Account based selling workshops all the time. Because we are too dumb to know how to reach a doctor by phone or email.
6) Change of leadership every year.
7) Tesla or get your own car for 800.00 a month.

If you are desperate then come.

This all pretty dang accurate. Big Pharma is big Pharma for the most part. I’d say the 2 things that makes this division less than ideal to work is the piss ass useless leadership team. All levels of it too from the top down to the moron ABLs. The other big thing is bonus Payouts have dried up. So below average mgmt and bonus payouts. Like many have said, if you are desperate for a job enter here at your own risk. Also, Novartis Known for layoffs and this division likely on that path in late 2025.

Different division (C.V.), but you will never hit your goals.
No matter how good the medication is (despite the nonsense on this site, Leqvio is a phenomenal drug), they won't let you win.
They'll develop ways (some ethically dubious) to keep the money.
If you need a job, you know what to do.
If you have options, you'll be wise to exercise them, as Novartis is a systemically hideous place.
Don't believe me?
Ask questions.
Why are they on another CIA? Why did they have to roll out company cell phones? Why was Duane taken off a $9.5B investment? How many reps have had $0.00 bonuses and how is that possible in a healthy corporate structure?
Cesspool, but if you need benefits for your family, you take the gig with the mindset that its a placeholder.

Wrong site pal. you seem lost. This is for MS.

Hell yeah the bonus payouts dried up in MS. This division reached its peak a few years ago. Most who remain are either looking to get out or buying time until they can retire.

Not your pal.
Reading & comprehension are skills. You should try them.
Systemic organizational rot touches all divisions.
CIA's apply to you as well, asswad, and this is not their first.
Poor bonus rollout and greedy management permeates the organization, not one division.

Also, CV, for the bitchy poster above. The above is play by play exactly what’s happening in every division and could have well been written by CV or MS division. The biggest culture killer for me are the 2-3 day ride alongs every few weeks, but I’m sure that depends on how your manager is for company. But financially, I will not take an electric car or buy one for Novartis to use. I’ll find another job, or take the electric car and just work a tiny portion of my geographically large territory.

It all started with Dez. If you remember the townhall conference a month ago. He put up a slide showing more field rides increased sales numbers. This year expect more field rides from your ABL. I have a new job just waiting to quit on Friday. Leaving mostly because of the amount of field rides and now this Tesla BS.

Your primary care pal so you would not understand. There is a reason why your bicycle has training wheels.

Or don’t quit and see how long it takes them to notice.

What is it that I don't understand?
Your quick with the vapid, childish insults, but you haven't once said anything of substance.
What is different in MS?
Cite a couple of specifics about how its different and better.
BTW if you were any good at all you would have left Novartis by now, but continue convincing yourself you're something special!
