Not a chance this rumor is true. No company has hired contracting sales reps and managers to replace an entire sales force of 7+ years. Just another dumb cafepharma rumor. Not saying layoffs won’t happen down the road, but this isn’t the rumor to worry about
I’m all about celebrating success, but I wonder how many salaries that Vegas trip can pay for. Or use that money to fund clinical programs that may help patients someday. Let’s make a single dollar of profit before popping the champagne.

When you accepted your job at ES, you didn’t have to certify with the risk of losing your job and being sent back home from training with nothing.

Only then will you have a clue why we celebrate sales success. Oh and btw, we spend 8 hours a day training and learning at the same meetings. The awards banquet is on the last night. But you would know that if you had any guts to try for something greater.
The sales meeting was booked and paid for long ago. While there is a cost to get people there it would be a bigger cost to cancel. Notice there are no Thanksgiving turkeys or Christmas party this year. The company is making cuts to what ever can be cut.

They did this at Sanofi 3 years ago. Contract team replaced brand team as it was cheaper to replace them.
