Pipeline? What has allowed to continue is difficult to observe. Decisions are questionable and no one can stop the runaway train except Roger or Rupert. Sad part is Rupert is also under the spell This person should have been an example the day the cleaning and labeling drawers stopped.

Agree. Only real feedback is the Voice which was never shared in my department. Sounds like it was poor and accurate. Wake up middle managers. If you can't address this questions leadership.

I left MRL in the summer. Much better off and colleagues actually are collaborative and respectful. Difference from my past department. Hard to leave Merck but I could not stomach the situation. Come to GSK, have many good ex Merckies!

Well Roger and the pawn should clean house. Leadership is horrible! Cleanout/photo, heavy projects with little substance, experts are not being utilized and the inability to innovate and speak up. It's pathetic. I wish Roger, Rupert would come for lunches to get the real story.
 






They don't care about early discovery. They would much rather have the outside do the early work and bring it in-house after the early work has been done. That's the plan. For as botched as BrGOS was, in reality it is accomplishing its goal. Get rid if most of early discovery.

No accountability, no oversight. For all the process and micro managing the top is oblivious to the poor state of WP. Morale down because employees stripped of respect, over worked and everyone falls in line due to constant threat of targeting.
 






Why is this person still here? Does this person know few respect and enjoy working with him or her? Speaking up will have consequences....

Non one knows how to label labs and clean out better that under mgt oversight at WP. Did a great job!

Clean, spotless, labeled and useful equipment purged. Labs are cleaner but often can't find the tools necessary for the daily experiment. The WP team did great and everyone helped complete the task and delayed finding potential target leads. Next, line up and walk off the side of a cliff. But this time certain management oversight goes first! The ones with the least drug discovery success go first.

Roger, where is the management clean out? THIS will motivate and boost morale. Remove a few key positions allowing science to develop and scientists to innovate. If this is not accomplished Merck has little chance of success.

They're not interested in best people for the positions at WP. This is all about shutting down R&D at WP. Get rid of more expensive personel and the ones that would speak out. All that is left are the people that will be cleaning and 5s-ing WP out if existence.
