MERCK CONTRACT AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see open positions. Is this an expansion, reps going to P4 positions, or back fills?

What is the current status of the contract re products, mileage reimbursement, PUblicis DM or Merck?, benefits or lack of, and is everyone pretty happy here?

It is a good flex time job..but let me tell you that you can not slack. I work my full 24 hours plus more on my own time. You have your shipments, emails conf calls, compliance stuff, tests and more tests. There is always something. I take the good with the other. Good products and nice group of people to work with.

It is becoming more and more demanding and not quite the part time flex time it is suppose to be. There is so much to do almost something everyday. I think they will see a turnover if they dont back off.

It makes unemployment payments with O overtime look better and better. 27.50/HR with taxes taken out is going to be a wash. Seriously.

How are the doctor lists and geography?
TIA.

ILL make sure to buy a lottery ticket!

I agree. They will start to see turnover soon. They are putting way to much on us for being flex time. Reports, annual tests, conference calls at least once per week, etc, etc. This used to be a great flex time job. Not anymore!!!!!!!!

I have mandatory weekly conf calls with my DM and we have to report as to when we've completed the "optional" training conf calls so they're not exactly optional for us.

Honestly:

1) how many MDS are on your lists for 24 hour/week? MDS seeable and receptive?
2) how often are Sample deliveries?
3) admin time for expenses?
4) optional training conference calls are for what purpose and how long?
5) Meetings?
6) DM ridealomgs for how long , how often?
7) Product goals realistic?
8) when's the next official training class?

TIA.

The most important aswer was left off - the one about dm ride alongs! Totally rediculous for a part time contract. Most DM's do two day ride alongs and are with reps every 6 weeks or so. Were told when we were hired that the DM ride along would be two days per quarter - 8 field rides per year. The reps I have talked to about this were all with their managers a minimum of 10 days last year - some 12+. Somehow working part time, those extra days just seem to be too much. Offices get annoyed. Reps get annoyed. Extra days bring NO extra value to anyone.

I didn't even have that many ride alongs on FT positions, much less 2 days.

My DM rides with me 2 days. Second day is usually short as the commute is considerable for my manager. With lunch and business review, which helpful because as flex time I don't do a lot of analysis. Face-to-face office time with MDs maybe 1 full day. Get another manager which means get another job or stfu. I like this gig.I have a great manger. And we great products.

I'm sure this gig is fab and didn't mean to disparage anyone's comments. It's great you have a day to discuss the business aspect, too. Thanks for reinforcing the positive.

It's great unless you work in the northeast region. Liz is micromanager like no other and takes an otherwise great job and makes it miserable. It is really sad that one person will cause such turnover.

I have made 34,000 already and year is not over yet!!!

Are they hiring in Florida, I'm a full time rep, making good money but the stress is killing me and I have a small child. Sometimes I feel I'm just sample dropping too. Times are tough but I think this may be an option for me. How big are the terr? I can do 30,000 a year without the tension
