Medical Sales College. Is it for Real?

Then you really didn't try. When I enrolled back in January, I was given a list of ten people in my state alone. I contacted a few of them all with favorable responses. At that time, I also read Cafepharma and took names listed on this site and easily found them on LinkedIn. I reached out to an additional three people all which again responded positively. Needless to say, it's easy to find.

I had two friends attend the school. Both of them have jobs. I am waiting until July but am excited to get going. I asked them if they had read any of this stuff here. They laughed. That's the difference between knowing people who have attended versus listening to someone who hasn't.

The blog is humorous and this Steve guy needs a life. Seriously, you really have the time to post 100 times a day? Unemployed or recruiter? Probably both now!

That ripoff report is so true.

Agreed!!

Yes, and sometimes I look in the mirror and tell myself that I'm a worthy person despite the fact I never got a college degree.

I just started reading this today! It took me all of 15 minutes to figure out what is going on.

Are people this stupid?

The college is brilliant, places hundreds of people in medical sales. All of that is well documented and easy to find the graduates and they do have jobs! We probably have 30-40 of them just in our sales force.

Any person in our industry knows that every company is looking to cut expenses. We live through daily fears of yet another commission cut. Operational support is getting slashed with the impending tax. I have already seen several medical education and training programs eliminated over budgets. The day of the recruiter is dead! I guarantee that every device company is significantly or even all together eliminating costs associated with recruiting. Just look at the amount of device companies that have switched to "Talent Acquisition", Medtronic, Boston Scientific, St. Jude now Stryker...

In the near future, you will see only one of three ways into the business:

Networking - Who you know....

Medical Sales College - or programs similar (no cost recruiting)

Direct Hiring via Talent Acquisition - End of recruiters!

Just watching the same idiot post over-and-over again the same stuff is clearly showing the desperation of recruiters. Modeling scams, gunsmith and other bs is an effort to distract from the fact the the college is brilliant! The same guy frequents professionalism yet he has posted on forums in some cases 50 times a day?

Dude, get a life!

Obviously an EliteMed-MSC owner or employee. Why do they think they can fool us this way?

Heaven and Hell...
Aims and MSC were created from down below!
Do you want to mix with the devil?

Shouldn't someone say "obviously yet another post from Steve or whatever your name is"?

They placed more than a student a day in a medical sales job in March. The hardest jobs to land yet they make it easy. I am a recent graduate and already have two interviews lined up. You on the other hand obviously are losing something.

What do you say about the massive group of graduates getting jobs? You constantly have blogged that MSC will take anyone who can pay them as if we are some kind of second class rep. I would say that if that was true, then MSC are miracles makers because they are getting us "second class reps" jobs everyday!!!

Another interesting thought...you have posted over 50 times just this week, why would that be? Lol.

OK everyone. Let's all get ready for one of the "Uni-Bloggers" canned responses.

Two years without a complaint, nice! Your "college" has been around since 2010, that's some history! Soon your "college" will be in the ranks of a Harvard or Yale. That's if you don't have to change the name again. You go MSC!

Speaking in absolutes? "Not a single complaint?" That's not realistic-this school seems to be trying so hard to prove that they're legit, that if they spent half as much time on the school they probably could have made a go of it. This is the most entertaining thread on CF.

It appears they really have placed more than 500 people. I would say they are doing just fine...

If MSC is so selective, then how come the EliteMed recruiter just tried to hard sell you MSC? This is a simple question your inner voice probably already raised.

No real recruiter charges jobseekers, and EliteMed does exactly that through MSC. Medical device companies are catching on to how MSC does business.

You're right, that would explain the record month in placements for MSC!! What did they end up with, 30 or 40 placements in just one month!!!

MSC Rocks!!

What do you mean "they"? You work for or own EliteMed-MSC.

If "they" are doing so well, why does it need to post fake entries on Cafepharma and why does it put up so many fake job ads on career boards?

If they have 20-30 students per month it would make logical sense that multiple current/former students would be on here. If MSC was on here, they would just call you out! I'm sure they know who you are. While you are posting 10-20 times a day "Steve", they are educating, placing and increasing the demand for jobs. I am certain just like placements, testimonials, pictures, employer references, newspaper articles, major device national sales meetings and much more... everything is REAL (including jobs) and you are FAKE! After all, they had 30+ placements this month and still after two years, a perfect CLEAN track record... If you are so certain that any of this is fake, why haven't you made any FORMAL complaints to the AG or BBB or the school board.

Oh that's right, you can't because none exist!

Get lost!
