WTF??? Is this because we are going to start selling tennis shoes like Doug was talking about at the NSM? I'm not sure we can compete against the likes of Nike. Heck, we can't even get a decent drug approved.

At takeda in the USA it would actually reduce jobs. What we'd do (and have always done) is grossly overpay for a product, company or buy our our co-owners 50% of our joint venture and then we'd have to lay people off and have horrible sales numbers. Thus, $7 billion given to Takeda North America could reduce quite a number of jobs. Don't worry, we may still need the stadium to have a Q&A session about the severance package for all the people who would be laid off.

I'm afraid that our last ditch effort to avoid a massive layoff was to purchase Amylin. Now that Amylin was smart enough to accept an offer from another company we will have to have a massive layoff. Poster above was right. We will need a stadium to fit all the people that will be chopped once actos goes generic.
