External party here and i am looking to apply for a Ft Worth N position with Lilly Dermatology. With all the negative things aside, can someone tell me about the manager, company cars, benefits, drugs being promoted, and how big the districts are. What kind of experience is required?
 






The less experience you have the better. Lilly now hiring many reps without experience. It’s just a way for them to pay less. Take the job and then move on to a company that pays better.

sales at Lilly is for less competitive people. It’s hard for Lilly sales reps to get jobs in the industry because they have a bad reputation of not being producers. This culture is created by DW and PS.

Sales? Really? How many referrals have you asked for in the past week? How many times did you close the prospect i.e. get them to sign where the line is dotted? If it was sales there is no way a base salary would be that high for anything, unless it was an advance on commission. Now, go back out there and pretend you are making a difference.

However, to get paid you must get them to sign and money must change hands. Also, real sales involves something called prospecting. Pharma is a joke, just ask any real salesperson. Now, go get some doctor to sign for your samples and make up some garbage in your call notes. Loser.

I’ve sold copiers right out of college, endoscopy scopes and now in derm. Why would I leave when I made just over 180k here and the hours are easier. But it doesn’t make it any less of a sales job. Go work on your “closing skills” Willy, leave the real sales to adults.

Actually, the best way to handle any objection if with your kids, spouse, LGBT significant other, co-worker, or customer is to remember the line coined by the Wolf of Wallstreet, "I hear what your saying, but does the idea make sense?
