Layoffs

All these communications and calls today only serve to highlight the death spiral that Takeda is actively in. Even if you survived todays cut, you would be wise to brush up you resume.

lol yes. 8% affect and that does not mean 8% lose their jobs. A lot of positions were reworked and people being shifted. If you think this was a massacre, you won’t do well in this industry.
AND if you think that this is the last blood-letting of the next 12 months, you shouldn't even BE in this industry.

Exactly. 8% is less than 200 people, And they all won’t be eliminated, They will be moved to other positions or be able to bid on similar roles.

So it isn't 8%. And when you combine similar positions, you don't have 100% placement rate due to that little word...combine. Last, a company that has more focus on DEI rather than peoples job is bs. And for those can read the emails that came out, this certainly isn't the last round of reductions.

don’t know what business you are in, but we were told it was about 8% “impacted” across USBU and that many will be able to apply for new positions. So of 8% impacted, less than that will be jobless. Hardly a massacre.

and we all agree you are a nitwit to not realize this is just the beginning this year. May be a massacre before 2024 is over.
