Get a life, people! We're all worried about our jobs and our families, and we don't have much information which is why we're so desperate that we check here. No one wants to watch losers with apparently too much time on their hands posting irrelevant b/s while our livelihoods dangle by a thread.

The severance is minimum 13 weeks or two weeks per year whichever is greater for your tenure. They will pay it lump sum, not every two weeks. They will not be paying a WARN because even though they do owe it, they are paying a 13 week severance to avoid the WARN. They do not have to pay both even though that would be the decent thing to do and what most of other pharma companies do.

Pull up cafepharma threads from 15 years ago, the industry was toast, everything was over, blah blah blah. Do the same for the week after President Obama was elected in 2008, the industry was done, jobs would be gone, etc. All threads were false.

Now listen to the real numbers, several major financial magazines have documented in the last three months that more people are employed in sales/marketing in this industry than 10 years ago.

You can convince yourself of anything if you try, but one thing is certain, this industry has done nothing but make more money each decade than the previous for an entire CENTURY!!! Don't be stressed, there are more jobs out there now than anytime in the previous 5 years. Go get one and take care of you and yours.
