Both specialty and cardiology are expected growth areas over the next 5 years. It's primary care docs that have virtually no control over what they write anymore. Doh!
you do realize those same specialty drs are under the same ACO systems that virtually have all the control over what they write. What is coming out soon in cardiology? nothing. look what that drug has been through. Thats the first therapeutic area they would consolidate. Respiratory and diabetes has seen multiple new product launches, wonder where the companies main focus will be cough respiratory cough diabetes cough cough. haha. What is likely - they merge spec and primary care or spec and hospital. company needs less people and that makes sense. we are one of the last companies that has spec and primary care separate, its just stupid.
