Layoff Rumors?

The above should not have been posted as it is Company Private. You are in violation. It's reps like you who anger management with your irresponsible posts and trolling. We continue to assure you there are NO LAYOFF plans in the works. Redeem yourself by working hard to meet your numbers !!

I just think it's great that specialty reps will keep our jobs and pick up the primary care customers. Although our access to the specialists is getting closed, this will give us the opportunity to influence the primary care doctors.

In the slightly over 2 years I have been with BI, after many in the industry, the following initiatives, concepts, programs, and phrases have been introduced:

U.S. Aspiration
CEM
ICE
GTM
Medical Staff Pilot/Model
LEAP
4Sight
The Wrap
CSO/Ashfield
Transformation
Gross to net
BI Buzz
Roles
State of the art
Proprietary
Unmet need
Paradigm shift
Co-sell
KEE
My "Ask"
R2Rx
Solutions Plus
"Right"
Lexicon
Footprint
GBC grow beat contend
Patient Power Words
Transparent
Control the controllables

Like spaghetti thrown against a wall, little actually sticks.

The end, of business as we know it, is near. Until then, control the controllables!

Upper management is so bloated- it's trying to save itself. The ridiculous failed model copying is ridiculous. The waste is immeasurable. There are far too many who think they are the most valuable in the room. Fact check: my ask is that you realize- none of you upper management screwballs are necessary unless something is being sold at ground level. Drop iPad, drop sample bag, drop mic.

How many mini iPad videos were produced with the respimat demo at ridiculous expense only to be "dumpstered" ???? Where is the accountability for that waste? The company is top-heavy and all the brass are protecting each other. Terrible. The layers of non-revenue producing empty suits need to go. Unfortunately they will remain.

Whoever was writing all of these posts in the threads should feel worse than anyone else out of the entire boards. Most people don't things very seriously on here, but there was some accurate info posted multiple times. To be saying crap like this when it was clearly not true is the most horrible thing anyone could do. You obviously don't care about anyone other than entertaining yourself, but on the off chance you do....you should feel terrible.

God I HATED working at BI.

I got laid off a few years ago. The biggest problem was that they treated their contractors so poorly. I felt really sorry for them. They were treated like outcasts. They had special phone extensions, special email extensions, special door signs (all to make sure everyone knew they were not employees), tiny little desks, they were not allowed to eat in the cafeteria with the employees, were not allowed to socialize with employees, were not allowed to go to company or departmental holiday parties, not allowed to attend company celebrations, etc.etc....And these were contractors that were saving the company tons of money - or made the company tons of money, were really smart people, incredibly hard workers, and really valuable. Just an awful company and so many awful people worked there.

God, I HATED working at BI....

I got laid off a few years ago too, after working there for over 20 years.
The worst thing is that they treated their contract workers terribly - like outcasts. Just to make sure that everyone knew they were not BI employees, they had special phone numbers, special emails, special office signs, they were not allowed to eat in the cafeteria with their co-workers, were not allowed to attend company or holiday parties with their co-workers, were not allowed to attend company-wide celebrations, were not allowed to socialize with fellow employees, etc. And these were great people who made or saved BI tons of money, were incredibly valuable, smart, nice, hard working people who were treated so poorly. I knew someone that was fired because they went to security to express concerns about dangerous behavior or an employee, but since they were a contractor and the person they complained about was a director, they got fired. Awful place to work and lots of awful people.

I know, I heard you the first time you posted this.

Omg the almighty spec rep has spoken. Reps will after this is done will be the same. There are many many pcp reps that can read a clinical and in many cases can top a spec. Heck half the pcp reps out there were spec reps at one time. Sounds like you have a bit if worry there.

Spec reps will get the jobs. I'm sorry that the pcp reps won't be placed, but it's nature's way.

I'm sorry but look at the launch of stiolto and PUD uptake, most of you will be cleansed from BI. Senior leadership is looking into how most of you were promoted. Your days are numbered, go clean up that resume for those contract sales interviews.

It's so pathetic how you keep making up all this information, you know nothing. You refuse to embrace the selection criteria. Keep living in your dream world and while you're there look for another job.
