Job Openings for Gattex

Wow, hey Lloyd, Leslie, Carman and Cindy, your job is to get the best candidates for the least amount of money, I get that. The 4 of you have a solid reputation in the business but I think you are missing what is considered "in line". Here's why, expect to pay more because the territories are huge, lots of overnights and the inside of a Courtyard or Double Tree get old real fast, equity stake provided here is below the average and the stock price has increased making the equity less valuable, several starts up's even recently are offering much more and you know that, AFFY, QCOR, DNDN, Shire all provided more equity and were open to provide a sign on bonus but not at NPS and lastly, bonus of $40K tied to a Gated National Plan will keep top performers away unless they are unemployed.

As you once told me, this isn't Real Estate sales and not for poor performers or inexperience without any savings that know how to fudge a ranking report. I am not moving forward with this as I have thought about it and will call you next week to remove my name for consideration. You want the best because Gattex will be successful if she is sold by the best, if not expect a relaunch in 18 months with new management and a stain on your reputation. Pay Up!

Always interesting to see different perspectives so here's mine:
1) my guess nps could have benefitted by interviewing more candidates
2) ranking reports and the like are likely to be doctored so why anyone would rely on them while interviewing a candidate is beyond me -
3) get trained in interviewing skills and actually learn about a candidate instead of looking at fake numbers or proprietary info that is out of context
4) the gated national plan sounds a lot like 'the district component' of a bonus structure that was popular awhile back - i liked it - i was a big contributor so I also made out on the individual portion while helping the district in general. this plan also keeps egos in check.
5) reps worrying about reps not working and getting paid is the type of rep nps should have avoided
6) good training, lots of activity, and feedback from the field will illuminate who is doing what
7) sign on bonus is nice but those days are kinda over - who needs to pay one?
8) anyone at all that complains about the overnights does not belong at nps in this position
9) wish like hell i had gotten an interview ...
10) the fact that I didn't does make me wonder how on earth did they decide to bring in as my resume as it all

wow, the bitter people on here are really unbelievable. Not to mention extremely misinformed. I make a very high salary, work in rare disease, and am extremely confident that NPS can afford me. Not sure what people were told about the entire package, but if you think it is low, then you were probably low balled to see how interested you really are.

ridiculous salaries are being asked so they can offset the potential issues that will impact uptake ... and bonus.

folks it won't be easy so get ready to earn your pay. anything in the 80 or 90 range is a gift.

Sorry to inform you but you didn't make it to the 2nd interview with a match of your $145 and what kind of sales rep. would settle for a match on their salary and a decrease in their bonus? A: One who is immature, with your 20+ years in the business you should have learned a little about how to sell yourself 1st.

Good luck with your current position and I would suggest you try to make it to Zig Ziglers funeral for a little reflection on how the golden rule that he spoke about in sales was to sell your self 1st.

Sounds to me your are desperate if you would take a less than lateral move with more travel.

You heard it here 1st half of this sales force will not be at NPS 1 year from today.

99% of this sales force and management has never done start-up before and they are going to be leading you, sleep well tonight. I give it 6 months with their cash burn, 1 year was to generous as companies that hire inexperience and need to learn on the job type of people, problem is this company doesn't have the time to flounder without sales coming in.

Ok, may the 1st manager that did a start up please step forward? I did give the sales force and management credit by stating that 1% did do a start up, so sorry as I know that reps have not been hired yet but managers have and none have done start-ups in their past.

Just a stock holder wanting to make certain this sales force and management will give me my return on my investment and so far I see a frugal company not paying for top performers or experienced management, remember, all of you work for me, THE STOCK HOLDER.

Those that have skin in the game have every right to see that Gattex gets the sales force AND management that are worthy of such a product. Well stated, but do you think your 500 shares can make a difference with the board? If none of management has start-up experience than that's 100% not 99%, just to get the record set straight. If no one in management has start up experience how will that matter anyway? We get hired, get a j-code and we are home free, Whippie-kai-yea, big Stock Holder!

Correction, @$11.22 was 52 week high far from the @$9.86 today, yes my living paycheck to paycheck friend the $1.36 difference is huge when you own blocks of shares which is something you are not familiar with. Be happy you are hired and you better produce results as we investors get nervous when we read about management with little experience hiring friends and unproven blowhards. We have seen this before and the results were not pretty-AMAG, SVNT, VERT, DNDN, DECD just to name a few.....

After completing training everyone will receive a Vo-Doo doll embossed with Gattex on the front and NPS on the back so you can take your frustrations out a bit easier when sales aren't happening. Also, I just got an order to make up tee-shirts that have a picture of a bowel on the front and a pile of shit on the back but you could have done a bit better with the statement, "SBS Got you Down? GATTEX not your girlfriend dummy"

Don't forget the "wildcard", will Gattex get approved. FDA understands the pricing structure and has declined on other drugs that panels have suggested moving on. PDUFA is right around the corner.
