Janssen and Hep C Division expansion

For those who recently had a web-based interview-Has HR or any of their 3rd party vendors reached out and asked to have any "application-type" paperwork filled out and returned?

Is it unusual for Janssen, as a first step, to conduct a live, web-based interview with a DM who then forwards a candidate's "file" to their HR recruiter as the next step in the process? Of course, usually it's a phone screen first before any kind of DM face-to-face interview.

Is this a good sign or perhaps not? I know colleagues have reported here on CF that Janssen is trying to process a lot of people in a short amount of time.

Having second round of interviews soon, looks like a good opportunity. I've pulled $190 a year for the past 4 years with base and bonus in HCV, will be interesting to see what the earning potential is. Selling Simponi will help expand experience in other areas of GI.
Word is out that Gilead was interviewing pretty aggressively in the south east this past week and that offers will be going out soon.

As far as the Southeast sales opportunities you speak of, there's no postings on the company web site. Did you see them elsewhere on the site or just word-of-mouth?

Gilead is NOT interviewing YET. You have wrong information. I promise you.

No Einstein, Gilead is interviewing as 3 co workers from the south (that I know of) interviewed last week. No idea why that area already is interviewing. You're right, there isn't and hasn't been anything posted on the Gilead board, this was through an independent recruiter that connected with these guys on LinkedIn.

Have you been contacted regarding second round interviews. I called/emailed internal recruiter several times and haven't heard anything. Also contacted manager that conducted first interview and haven't heard from him either.

Has anyone, internal or external, that has had either a web-based interview or face-to-face interview heard anything back yet from the company? Is it true that interested and qualified internal candidates have had more than the first round of interviews conducted so far?

I'd like to join a first class co like Merck. Their leadership has created a winning culture which is why they are the #1 HCV co.

So funny......their final demise will hit when simeprevir and sofosbuvir hit the market, that is unless they price boceprevir at 50 cents on the dollar and throw in Pegintron. Who the hell would hire one of their HCV reps?

Only Merck is customer centric but you wouldn't understand that would you?

Customer centric? Seriously? More like smoke, mirrors and data spin. If Smerck is so customer centric, why are they the distant second for both Peg as well DAAs? Crap drugs sold by crap reps. I've never seen more begging for business then what they've lowered themselves to do.
