Iroko is Starting to Quickly Crumble

You just can't lay all this garbage at one person's feet. Plenty of blame to go around.

Really? Last time I checked she is in charge of sales. She doesn't communicate to the field (this waste of a meeting doesn't count) and her 20 minute meetings with the managers are a joke. Get over yourself and wake-up. She is responsible for the downward spiral of this company. It appears that you are also part of this mess.

That's just a start
Probably you, too

She has been here 1 year. Never communicates, doesn't lead and has no idea what to do. Her big idea is to pay us more so we don't leave so she doesn't look bad. I was at the Monterey meeting and was appalled by the waste of money. Under her leadership sales are decreasing, not increasing. If you think that she is not to blame then you must be her, because we all think she is a joke.

Just did a search on Clarissa. Found several posts from 2011 when she was at Shire. Same sh-t different day. We are doomed for failure. Iroko will never be successful. She has no idea what she is doing as it shows with this meeting.

Just to humor myself, what's the name of the thread from 2011? A good friend works at Shire and claimed her as "a worthless piece of sh** that will or do anything to retain her position". Curiosity will kill the cat, my friends

Iroko is leaking like a sieve. Reps are leaving faster than they can be replaced. It is just a matter of time before there is not enough of us to keep Iroko going. I'm getting a lot of calls for new jobs. I like Iroko, but I'm done and will be leaving soon.

Looks like Iroko is no longer posting the rep jobs on their website when reps leave. This is not a good sign and maybe the beginning of the end. Its a shame. All that money wasted and nothing to show for it.

I don't work at Iroko, but I have a vested interest in their success. I've tried to stave off unverified rumblings of further decline in business and profitability. I stumbled upon this website and thread by accident. Reading about executive and board member resignations (which board member?), general discontent from employees, and a complete lack of confidence in leadership... is all very disappointing. Is it really just a matter of time, or can this be turned around? Thx for any insight.

If you are serious about having a vested interest in their success, perhaps Cafe Pharma is not the best resource for your due diligence. Sounds like you already know people at the company. Ask them if they think it can be turned around. Clearly these postings are not positive about their future. Only time will tell if it can be turned around.

Company burns through cash, yet wastes money on frivolous sales meetings (see thread on Monterey meeting). Since SVP of sales started sales are declining to flat. Just gave raises and title changes to entire sales force - reps and managers to buy loyalty. Provides no communication/direction and doesn't go in the field to observe business first-hand. No leadership and zero accountability. Has 'everyone gets a trophy' mentality. Replace with smart, seasoned, no frills, no nonsense, but fair leadership who pays for performance the company has a shot.
