Agree. Iooked into this but had little communication from recruiter at Rx Sales Pros. But there are already dozens if oral antipsychotics on the market, many generic. And the already over agressive Allergen/Forest sleazebags are out there pushing Vraylar in everyone's face. Not to mention if this drug actually makes money this tiny little company will be sold before you can even blink.

With only a schiz indication, it will be a struggle especially getting coverage. They really needed that bipolar indication as well but study failed. New drug launches are brutal these days.

Company is a joke so far. Hired an ex Sunovion douche Jamie Hedges for Dallas.

A lot of these DMs from other companies are arrogant. They are smarter than you and you , "you lowly rep are a moron" you need to be told how to put your shoes on. DMs are the biggest joke in the industry. I can only recall one person that I worked for that was realistic and smart. most are so full of themselves. I don't know the person mentioned in the post but in general. I turned down the spot but at my current company , I don't speak to DM in my company. I never call my manager or speak to any manager at any function.

Congratulations on your monumental achievement!

This is truth. In reality, there needs to be one middle manager per 20 reps. And NO forced ride alongs! Just be available if the reps ask for help. It’s really that simple.

Many managers at many companies are with reps too often and for too long but what you are asking for isn't really ideal for anything but the rep's quality of life.

There is a place for ride alongs and good managers in this industry do it right, coming in to do 1-3 calls on the reps schedule, discussing business over a meal and then hitting the road. There is no need for anything further outside of a drug launch or major change to the business.

This company set out saying they want the best reps. Yet they low-balled everyone when it came to offers so most of the best reps turned it down. Way to build a sales force :/

You obviously aren't one of the "best reps." The best reps negotiated before the offer was on the table and the figure became non-negotiable. Some received very high offers, you just weren't one of them. Good luck to you!

I know nearly a dozen people who received offers, every one for less than they "negotiated" before the offer, and nothing to be considered high.

I would love to know what your definition of a very high offer is.

Ass. You are obviously one of the many managers that came along with your boss from Synergy Pharma which was a joke of a pharma company at best. Congrats on your job. Why are you so afraid of hiring reps that know psychiatry? Afraid of looking like a fool?
