Interviews

I know people say that Tennessee has already been interviewed, but if so, WHY do I keep seeing updated postings for Nashville? There is also an Amylin direct position listed, and on that position, diabetes experience is only PREFERRED....???

Tennessee is not done. Certain parts maybe, but as a whole they have a few spots to fill.

Sounds accurate. I was told verbals were not going to be made until references are checked.
The interviews I was at, they checked references after the 3rd candidate was finished, before they passed someone on to the RD. Verbal was given later that evening, and written arrived today. Background checks arent' initiated until you fill out the info from the link in the email.

ha. serious bullshit here.

Just trying to pass along some info to help people out, sorry if it didn't fit into what you thought the process would be. They called references right then and there...fact.

That's dumb. What are the chances they can call a reference and get hold of them on the spot? Most often, the reference will have to call them back, perhaps later that day or the next.

Not saying if it was dumb or not, just what actually happened. My hiring manager told me he got ahold of two of my references, named them and said he tried to reach the 3rd and he was waiting to hear back from him but was confident things were good to go. I spoke to them and it checked out. They said he called right after interview. I was then sent to RD and afterwards I got a verbal that night, written this week. May be dumb, but it's how it went down. My advice, make sure you haev good references and that they are available that afternoon or whatever...let them know they could get a call. I was lucky and they answered.

What if your references are doctors in the territory? Not too easy to get hold of them on the spot.
